  1. It still begs the question if we have a team full of high quaility players whose going to be next years whipping boy for the fans.
  2. and so do the RSPCA
  3. Still in contract
  4. Me too but will he not want regular football?
  5. Yes but we are still in League 1:(
  6. How about Gary Doherty seems he has done well at Norwich http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/8683875.stm
  7. Still on contract I expect
  8. The list is as was expected I think buy I was hoping good things from Kayne McLaggon from reports last season
  9. I am sorry to disagree with you but I think the CONLIB coalition was the only choice if you wanted Power not sure Labour were going to change their manifesto much. With regards to bank bonuses they are large but so are footballers wages are they going to tackle them as well. I am not sure it is the bonuses which have caused the problems at the banks but poor management if the banks make large profits I would have thought it right that there employees benefited but not by so much I suppose. But it is the banks money so what should they do with it? I just dont think
  10. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8167575.Saints__crowds_are_on_the_up___they_ve_been_bigger_than_Pompey_s_/?ref=rss Well I certainly went more probably would have gone more often if I lived in Southampton still especially for evening games - It was nice to see the Saints win so much
  11. Well yet another loss team does look poor
  12. Well you do seem to be well informed
  13. Ok you think there was nothing in the rumours I dont know maybe maybe not All I know is that Pardew is still manager which I fully expected as he has done a good job and sacking him would have been a PR disaster. NC does not seem to realise how the UK press works which is probably not surprising really but I think he should do something to accomodate them. Of course he should not answer every rumour but there are other people in the club who could liase with the press to point them in the right direction instead of having a confrontational stance.
  14. Well I think we will have to differ I think SFC should have been more forthcoming but you dont By not coming out and supporting Pardew earlier perhaps SFC has left a very slight impression that there was something in the rumours. I follow Politics quite closely where what is important is not what is not said but what is not said
  15. So Pardew will still be here if we are in League 1 at the end of next season

Yes I agree to some extent It is not always a good idea to humilate your enemy when you think he is down. I dont think our country had particularly nice policies up to the end of the Second World War
  17. Yes I agree I think Mrs B is organising a similar event for me to night
  18. Or they dont speed;) By the way apparently not many speed cameras actually work
  19. Oh I see I did not see them as erosion of civil liberties I saw most of them as good ideas. No Fox Hunting No Smoking in Public Places CCTV to reduce Crime but I suppose it is an erosion of civil liberties but in general it makes me feel better. So are the Tories going to repeal Fox Hunting and Smoking in Public/Work Places Not sure the what the Government will do with the information that I support SFC
  20. Well there you go Often however Organisations do clarify the situation
  21. So nothing Specific then about the erosion of Civil Liberties. With regard to speeding tickets instead of a fine I went for what I term corrective training where it showed how keeping to the speed limit can save lives.
  22. Although I was at the game it was not until I got home that I heard about from my brother who heard about from Siolent
  23. You raise an interesting point - why did SFC not answer the questions the Echo were asking to substantiate the story
  24. I totally agree with what you are saying the only point I would like to make is that ML/AP are probably not used to the way the Press and the Fans react in the UK and perhaps if the club are better PR things would probably improve. Southampton maybe Cortese's Baby but it is my football club which I have supported since the early 1960s and not only do I want to know the score after/during matches even when I am anywhere in the world but I also want to read reports about the club knowing it is likely to be correct as usually they have been in the past .
  25. I dont think the Echo should not do a story because it might upset Cortese Especially as it was being discussed all over place including this forum http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=22341
