  1. I think you have a very valid point But lets face it Cortese wants to get in as much revenue as possible and probably cares little about how the fans feel
  2. Inflation is currently about 3.7% which I think includes the fact that VAT has gone up by 2.5% so your figure of 5% is reasonable But lets face it Cortese is not here to help the fans he is here to make money like all previous Chairman I would have thought maybe more than the others but we will never know
  3. No I dont think it is Do you pay your Council Tax in installments or up front? SFC are just getting money in early
  4. Well I probably wont go to see Wigan come and draw 0 0
  5. I think you are being slightly over the top in your response if the club had told fans there was not going to be any installment plans then they could have planned accordingly. A very poor decision by the club. Dont think people would be very happy in Southampton Council said all Council Tax had to be paid in one installment instead of the usual ten
  6. I would be very surprised if it was entirely Cortese's decision as there are other people involved at SFC and would have been done on purely financial reasons
  7. Doubt I would go if we were crap like Stockport/Wycombe
  8. That is why I quite like it in League 1 Usually see a win a few goals have a couple of beers with my brother for less than £20
  9. Wonder what season ticket prices will be like if we were in the Premiership Could be £125 per game by the time we get there:(
  10. Yes I think that is an important point if fans were told earlier things may have been different
  11. Lennon is just better
  12. So is the BBC
  13. If Barry was fully fit I would agree with you but I think Carrick should go for insurance as he has more experience than Parker. That said not much too choose
  14. It is if you dont have the money
  15. Could be happening http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news...cle443781.html
  16. Here we go again http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Southampton-boss-Alan-Pardew-is-lining-up-a-double-swoop-for-Doncaster-midfielder-Brian-Stock-and-Bristol-Rovers-starlet-Chris-Lines-article443781.html Similar to the Echo the other day
  17. I expect he will be off
  18. So breaking the rules is acceptable if the person is capable. He is paying back the money so he must have felt he had done wrong Should now be ejected from the House of Commons in a referendum as promised by Mr Clegg.
  19. A multi millionaire syphoning our money to his gay lover seems a bit sleazy to me. I thought Clegg was talking about a new start what a hypocrite I actually feel sorry for Mr Cameron but he is probably a little niave
  20. Good to me as well as long as the young players are given a chance to perform
  21. Maybe Crap but still news
  22. Just back from a nice day out at Lords only about 10000 there but never the less quite enjoyable
  23. Well at least they are there whilst we are in League 1
  24. Unable to get a reasonable Irish or Welsh team I thought But maybe a Scandinavian one would be good
  25. I know who was the last Loan player to score for Saints but I have no idea who was the first;) But I know now and may have in fact seen the goal if it was down the dell
