Of course there was a possibilty of getting to the play offs but realistically I did not believe it.
However I am with you in thinking that the team we have we should have at least had a win or two
I agree that a number are slating the players and critical of Pardew through frustration.
The continual excuse of having no preseaon is getting a little boring we have a team with experience players costing more than most League 1 sides and should be performing better.
But the major problem I think is the points deduction
If we had no deduction , a few of decent results would see us moving out of the relegation zone but with the deduction it is going to take a lot longer to achieve and is worrying people.
Worried people are more critical
Football unfortunately is judged on results
Last season JP's team played nice football and won few games this season AP team plays average football and wins no games no wonder some people are unhappy.
We now have a English manager and assistant who know the leagues and have four points from six games
That is probably how I see it we should not be complacent and put our trust in Pardew who was a complete loser at Charlton.
He may well be good for SFC but at the moment he is not and that is how he is being judged on at the moment
It is a difficult situation Lallana has talent but this talent even in League 1 is not helping us to win games so perhaps the time has come to go with the team you suggest
I think it is impossible to make a comment about Waigo
but
Lambert, Murty, Harding, Hammond, Trotman, Jaidi, are they better than
Surman John Rasiak Saejis McGoldrick Skacel BWP only time will tell
I think it is ridiculous to think Pardew will definitely turn the club around he may or he may not only time will tell.
He failed miserably at Charlton in his last job.
Of course we would like a successful team but at the moment we do not have one and are in the relegation zone
I agree with your sentiments
There are too many easy excuses Pardew is just not delivering at the moment
Surely against 10 men we should have at least scored at home.
Dont forget they are replacing BWP Surman McGoldrick Saegis Skacel Euell who were in last years squad plus John and Rasiak most of which are playing in higher Leagues.
I agree with you despite Bates having a record of 39 %
His record in 1959-60
Was
46 games 26 wins 9 draws 11 losses
