Seems a scenario I have heard before
-
The problem is that with the team we have our results should be better I would have thought So it must be down to something it used to be Lowe's fault so now it must be something to do with the new regime as they are running the club
-
I agree we have only started the season but usually teams which start with poor results continue like that which is a worry. I still think the team we have is better than the average League 1 side and we should be doing better. I fully expect to beat Colchester next week like I thought we would do better against Brentford Swindon and Stockport.
-
I think you maybe believing the Pardew hype which is up to you. Of course the club was not in a good shape because of the problems with money but Pardew might not be the manager you think he is Only time will tell if results improve dramatically you will of course be right . I just would like to win a couple of games thats all without excuses
-
Surely the current team is better than most in the Division so why are we not winning.
-
I just want the Saints to win some games and we are not. At the moment Pardew has failed to deliver and does not appear to be able to organise the team to score goals and defend leads similar to Redknapp Things may improve but I thought that last week and the week before etc. I am told things are going to improve but they dont
-
It seems a little like last season pretty football but no wins. Surely 3 points out of 15 no wins is not going to make fans be happy and positive. Every week I think we will win the next game but so far we have not and I feel with the squad we have we should be winning. We wanted a CB Striker and CM and everything would be OK WE have them and now we need more and everything will be OK well it maybe but there should be no excuses if we fail to win our next game
-
Well you could have said the same last season as well . I watched Tuesday night's performance and we were not bad but scoring goals and defending leads is what makes results and we are not doing that at the moment. I just want Pardew's talk to be turned into wins and not to keep blaming the ref. At 1 0 it is always possible to conceed a late goal but at 2 0 a late goal does not matter that much. It is worrying though the MOM was a CB
-
I was going to make similar points - in order to win we must score more goals and not blame the ref
-
That is the problem I agree surely the players are good enough I dont think I would want many of the Stockport/Brentford players in our team
-
Seems quite a reasonable post to me this lot appear to talk a good story but results do not happen. I hope it changes soon
-
We have three points from five games possibly And as usual lots of excuses
-
145 for 5 now I must admit I want Hampshire to win this one more than Saints against Stockport
-
Cork Lucketti Vignal
-
According to the Echo We are in the market for another couple of signings before the window closes on Tuesday, though the club do have the luxury of the emergency loan window if they can’t complete permanent deals by then.
-
Yes so did I unfortunately things went wrong after his injury as up to then I thought we were going to win. If Murty is injured long term we do need a proper replacement
-
I agree but from what I have read the injury to Murty has as yet not be resolved so we will have to wait and see what happens
-
Thanks Plenty of time for a couple of new players
-
When does the Window close
-
Lets face it most of the English outfield players come from the top 6 or 7 Teams anyway
-
Apart from the Wilde years SFC have always lived within their means that is probably why we have not been successful recently but it is quite ironic really that the only time we did overspend it led to administration. At least that wont happen again now and hopefully the club will prosper both on and off the field
-
Well lets face it we have not had many outstanding players in the last fifteen years
-
However in the years before 1979 we had large wins especially at the Dell the most famous in 1965 9 3 v Wolves and also scored last minute goals in the FA CUP 1963 Sixth Round David Burnside 1976 Third Round (I think) Hughie Fisher
-
At least the French FA are trying to develop Morgan unlike the FA with MLT
-
I thought somebody would say something stupid like that If you are a striker you are supposed to score goals what happened when Beattie left
