That is a rather stupid comment I would have thought as Notts County are in the Promotion places whilst we are in the relegation ones
-
Totally agree and I dont like him blaming referees either It is diffuclt enough to referee matches without the constant whine of managers.

Answers 1. Where would we be without Liebherr? Somebody else would have taken over 2. How many years did we suffer from debts 3 Poor management 5 Inconsistency 47 3. Do we have a proven manager? Not sure 4. How many teams go out and win everything 5 league games after having a new manager and new owners, a total shakeup of the way the club works Not many but most win some

Not at Southampton but things seem to be better at Notts County and Man City
-
Bllody hell new strategy no need to start winning until December then?
-
I dont care about a failing businesses we are talking about a football team. Other clubs bring in a new manager a few new players and then start playing well but not Southampton
-
You are probably right but I am very positive before each game only to be let down by the result especially as I heard that we were winning at half time
-
I have been supporting SFC for over 50 years and the team has never been in the position it has today. The club have not solved that in anyway as it stands today
-
I dont understand why we appear to be arguing because I am in agreement in what you are saying. The scouting system was stopped last season to save money in the short term. I was at St Mary's on Tuesday and we played quite well although we lacked width having grown up with Paine and Sydenham so I was suprised when we did not beat Stockport . Like you I am getting a bit nervous about Pardew and if we dont string a few results soon problems may arise
-
It is not for me to come up with a solution it is for the people to run the club to do that but despite Pardew's hype the club is hardly progressing Of course it may do so in time but after two seasons of rubbish I was hoping for better and a least a league win .
-
I think too much is being made of our preseason being screwed up. Although I would have thought ML would have had a manager lined up before taking over
-
OK if you are happy with three points in five games that is alright by me despite Pardew suggesting that we would take ten points from the first five games. But being in the relegation zone on merit with the squad we have surely is not good enough that is my point and it is often difficult to move on from a bad start. I am not taking umbridge I thought it was you taking umbridge
-
Yes but unfortunately it is results which count. If we had won five or six games more last season Markus may not have been here
-
Yes of course you are right but I thought that last season as well
-
This is a public forum where people are allowed to put across a point of view. Mine is that Pardew and the team is not performing well at the moment and he may not be the right person for the job in hand only time will tell his record at Charlton was not that good but at Reading it was. It should be possible to discuss the manager without the need to suggest that he should be sacked. With the squad we have we should not be in the relegation zone on merit
-
This is the most depressing post I have read this weekend. This poster is not usually that wrong in his observations
-
You would have thought so but when?
-
Yes I agree with what you are saying but even with our current squad things should be better
-
I dont think we will get slaughtered Pardew has a lot to prove at the Valley
-
So you are quite happy with results so far then I just want Pardew to do the job he is paid for and produce some results
-
I dont want to discuss Lowe and his Legacy the point I was trying to make is that in the past Lowe was blamed for poor results now posters will rightly or wrongly obviously be blaming the new regime and you should not be surprised by that. With no wins it is not surprising that all the posts are not positive even with no points deduction we would still be in the relegation zone
-
I agree but when did we last have any decent wide players Did not see many crosses coming in from the byline last Tuesday
-
Mid Table say 60 points need another 67 in 41 games 20 wins 7 draws 14 losses a possibility I would have thought Originally I was expecting us to get about 70 points in the whole season so be on about -2 now and clear the deficit by next week
-
What next season in League 2?
-
Perhaps so but I still think most of the dmage was done when he was not here but of course I maybe wrong. It is not a pro Lowe stance just not a true believer in all the Pardew hype and his anti referee stance which cannot be good for the future wherevery decision by the Ref is going to be argued with.
