  1. However in the years before 1979 we had large wins especially at the Dell the most famous in 1965 9 3 v Wolves and also scored last minute goals in the FA CUP 1963 Sixth Round David Burnside 1976 Third Round (I think) Hughie Fisher
  2. At least the French FA are trying to develop Morgan unlike the FA with MLT
  3. I thought somebody would say something stupid like that If you are a striker you are supposed to score goals what happened when Beattie left
  4. Somebody like Ormerod who ran around but hardly ever scored
  5. Yes I totally agree but I still think footballers wages are too high
  6. I dont think you have much idea about football do you? His record for scoring goals is quite good and will do quite well in the CCC
  7. It was on the OS site last night and I was extremely disappointed when I read it
  8. I think this is in your deluded opinion give the bloke a chance
  9. I am pleased that Portsmouth have a new owner they are long standing club with loads of history and the supporters I know were pleased when we were bought by Markus
  10. Surely if you were looking for a new job you would want to get the best deal would you not. That is all Rasiak is doing as he finds himself in League 1 through no fault of his own

    Gillet

Gillett is too small lacks pace and strength to be a very good midfield player in League 1 he is after all 24 not 18. We have better ones at the moment
  12. This is just a rehash of the Echo Story http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4565034.Rasiak_in_talks_to_leave_Saints/ on Sky http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_5515519,00.html

    Gillet

I thought Gillett lost the ball in midfield to give the ball to B'ham leading up to the first goal but I dont think he will be first choice this season now that Hammond is here

    Gillet

Unlike the players you mention Gillett does not appear to have strength to with stand challenges or speed to get away from tacklers

    Gillet

Wotton was a lot better than Gillett last night I thought. I just feel Gillett is too small
  16. Yes I agree every time I think things are going to get better they dont Last night Before Murty got injured I thought we were going to win but we did not Perhaps we will win three in a row but I doubt it I dont think that is being negative only realistic
  17. Me too I think Morgan had a go and was equally as bad
  18. Yes me too and others in the Chapel
  19. Yes I thought lambert was good but had no pace
  20. Yes we played really well and I thought we could have won but I think Birmingham's superior fitness proved decisive in the end. After your comments after the last game I thought I was watching a completely different team. Even Wotton played OK and James was pretty good in Midfield It was well worth a tenner although the fiver spent on this forum is even better value
  21. Yes I thought we were going to win before Murty went off However Birmingham probably did make better chances and their defence were quick to react when we were attacking
  22. Of course the boy has talent but he does not seem to harness the talent to enable the team to score goals with his final ball His corners were not good either. It is after all goals which win matches
  23. I thought they all played well nobody really outstanding all 7s apart from Davis 8 although Lallana's goal was special and showed nice touches but no real end product I thought James and Wotton were pretty good in midfield and when Murty was injured things went wrong. We never seemed to get to the byline very often

    Murty

Yes that is how I saw it I was surprised that Morgan did not come on when Murty went off
  25. Yes I did It all went pear shaped when Murty went off. Wotton had a great shot as well
