If that indeed is the case, then a LB starter is a priority in January.

Bertie is definitely our weakest starter at the moment. He rarely gets deep on the overlap to cross, he gets done by opposing wingers, gets caught ball watching and as you said, totally ignores the wide man in front of him.

Over 4.5 hours now since we scored a goal (that var hasn’t disallowed).

Missing the link up play of Armstrong. Djenepo and Walcott not being particularly effective so far. We seem so set in our ways, no one really dares to try and do something like a shot from distance or a lung bursting run into the box.

We work the ball nicely at times and then spoil it with sloppy passes.
