Bit of a damp squib this one. FA Cup 3rd used to be one of the best weekends on the calendar. Now it’s just reserve teams against lower league teams.

I think the issue is that for offside they draw lines and you can be a mm off (objective). For a penalty they ask “was it a clear and obvious mistake?” (subjective). They need to sort this out. Lost count of the number of times that the comma say “no penalty but if the ref had given it then it wouldn’t have been overturned”. So it was a penalty then? And some **** in black ****ed up but you don’t want to show him up?

Was a cool finish too. Bah!

Never seen a ref do that. Called a free kick on Boufal for handball because he grabbed the ball after going to ground. I wish refs would do that more, stop all the diving and conning the ref.

I understand why most of the 1st team are sitting out but I hope we don’t stuff up a decent cup run. This team should have enough, hopefully a lot of them have a point to prove.

Norwich 1-0 Palace West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth Bournemouth are plummeting!

Stoppage time was relatively comfortable. At one point Saints kicked it out and Spurs ambled up to the ball to take the throw in. They’d given up. We harried and hustled them into submission. They look like a team that blew their big chance last season and are now in a decline.

Such mental toughness that was missing earlier in the season. Stephens is growing in stature by the game. In the end the +5 minutes at the end were rather comfortable. Armstrong coming in has been crucial to our success. Every player seems to know their role better.

Be great if we could get a win at Leicester to get a bit of revenge. Might be asking a bit too much.
