Some of Saints movement has been sublime, difficult conditions are tough so passes going astray. Burnley just hoofing it.

I think what he means by VAR or not is: Using VAR = no goal (as we witnessed) Not having VAR, Lino flagged = no goal

So they check and see Lino was wrong, then what? Goal? Forget that, I understand what you mean now.

That worries me. The other Saints CBs didn’t play the whistle and stopped at the flag. If the Lino was wrong we’d have been 1-0 down.

Approaching midnight here in South Western Quebec (I live across the river from Ottawa in la belle province). Had a couple of beers after my match tonight (we lost 4-1, bah). Really looking forward to the season and seeing what Saints have in store for us. Would love a comfortable 2-0 win but thinking a 2-2 draw will be what we get. Hopefully it’s us scoring at the death rather than them.

I have Mané, but VVD as captain. Mixed emotions when Norwich scored, would have been a bumper points haul for a clean sheet.
