You want to believe that that can't be true, but time and time again it is clear that the "usual suspects" are no-where to be seen and then all of a sudden start to post what appears to be something they've had in a text file or whatever as soon as something goes bad for Saints. You can almost sense the glee in that fact that we are losing or making mistakes. These people are so hard to understand, they are the kind that revel in the failure of others so that they can look good.

The club has had a couple of bad seasons and it is correct to be upset and criticize some of the decision making. What annoys people is the "on and on and on" brigade that won't stop trying to make their point and using every little thing that goes on a Saints to use as a stick to beat the club with, over and over again. Gone are the days where a little bit of patience and having realistic expectations were the norm. Now it's a barrage of abuse as soon as the team-sheet is announced. Writing players off as rubbish before a ball has been kicked or after the first mistake. It's wearing for those of us who want to just enjoy the ride and hope that we will score goals and win games. When we do win we get the same cretins playing the "happy to have been proven wrong card". Give us a ****ing break will you!

Maybe you should just give this season a miss then?

A few of our top moaners are looking a bit jaded after the World Cup. Maybe a little break is needed and then ease back into the moaning over the first few games?

To be fair, they need these games to warm up the moaning, try different moaning strategies and identify scapegoats for the season. They can’t just jump straight into a high level of moaning without a good pre-season of regular moaning.

Everyone knows that pre-season is only there so we can figure out who the whipping boys will be, who we can blame and what kind of repetitive trolling will bear fruit during the real season.

Weren’t our preseason results pretty decent last year with MoPe. Can’t remember. Hopefully Hughes is seeing what we are and will adjust and build from here on.
