We couldn't fight our way out of a wet paper bag right now. Some of our players are so clueless the trainers probably have to tie their laces before the game and make sure that they walk the right direction down the tunnel.

If we can get a corner and either a) make a decent attempt on goal or b) not have the other team break and score then that is progress. We’ve been down for weeks. The body language of the players shows that. They’re shot. I’m hoping for the best but expecting the worst. We’ll probably keep Arsenal at bay for about 4 minutes and it’ll be game over after 20. The score will depend on just how much energy Arsenal can be bothered to spend on us.

Still fuming at how we capitulated without so much as a whimper. Even at 2 and 3-0 down no one said “come on lads, we might still lose but let’s just ****ing get stuck in and use it as practice for the next game”. No they clock watched, eager to just get down the tunnel and away from the ground.

Laid out like that we look truly ****ed. I know it’s just psychology but I can’t even see us scoring let alone winning a game. No doubt there’ll be some shock results in there too, just have to hope it’s us getting the shock win(s).

Only Boufal on our team is capable of that but he doesn’t even try that anymore. Not an ounce of confidence in our players, they get the ball and **** themselves. Some of them look like they don’t want the ball.
