  1. When you say "our advantage" does this mean Saints becoming a League 2 feeder club, but a solvent club with Lowes shareholding still in tact? Ujpest are currently 2nd in the Hungarian top flight with 20 league titles and 8 cup titles to their name.
  2. Thankyou Minsk. I wonder which of those players Ujpest will take off our hands. I think it's more likely to be a foreign player, possibly an East European.
  3. Their crowds are irrelevent. Their chairman is relevent. But it's not grabbing hold of nothing. Ujpest played Wolves and Saints behind closed doors in a friendly in mid season. That is unusual. Wolves and Ujpest are forging links. Now it doesn't take Einstein to work out we are forging links too. It's the extent of the links and how they impact on SFC that is the question and we can only speculate on that. This is what i'm doing.
  4. That translates to 90 minutes during the friendly. Does anyone know the team Saints put out that day? so we can see who they watched.
  5. Yep, so who are we going to pack off to Hungary then?

  7. Like i've already stated we need to be looking into their chairman. Eastern block countries are mostly poor, but on the flip side there's a lot of people who became very wealthy when the Soviet Union collapsed.
  8. We could really do with finding out a bit about Ujpests chairmam and whether he could bankroll Saints as a feeder club for his own club.
  9. Ponty i think you need to open your eyes mate. It's bloody obvious why we played Ujpest - THE SAME REASON WOLVES PLAYED THEM. Wolves didn't twin with them, i believe we did a deal. The signing of todays player suggests as much. Now you need to think out of the box about the implications and i reckon i'm on the money.
  10. They give us Liptak for free (with them possibly paying his wages) - we give them Skacel. Lowe then dresses this up as good business. They give us player X (with them paying his wages) - we give them Saga. etc etc etc. We become their feeder club and function in League 2 for this purpose, but they keep us afloat and stop lowe from losing his money.
  11. Wise words trousers.
  12. Time will tell. I will re-post my comments when it happens.
  13. Interesting comments and they all point to Zoltan being a poor football league level player, never mind CCC standard player. There is more to this signing that meets the eye and IMO it's a political transfer, as oposed to a footballing decision. There's been no official comment as yet about us twinning with Ujpest, but this signing confirms it has happened in my opinion. Just look at the fact we played them in a friendly in mid season - that doesn't happen for no reason. I'm now really convinced we'll see players going the other way and i don't believe they'll be crap like we've just brought in. Contrary to the spin that's been lapped up by many on here i see Ujpest as being a club who will aid Lowe in asset stripping our squad and that being the case this tells me we are close to administration.
  14. And how do you know we are paying his wages? Upjest tried to twin up with Wolves in December, they then play us behind closed doors. Is it beyond the realms of possibility they loaned Zoltan and will keep paying his wages? I think it's possible, but of course they will want something in return... Watch this space. I reckon Skacel will go to Ujpest on loan and then get a free transfer which Lowe will dress up as brilliant business.
  15. We've signed an Hungarian U21 international on loan so we're obviously not going into admin.:smt043
  16. Read the comments from fans of his old club. Add that to fact Stevenage didn't want him. Now draw your conclusion.
  17. Obviously no one wanted them which is understandable.
  18. Fans of his old club, Southend, seem to rate him. Here are some of their comments on his move to Saints: .
  19. You've got admit though Manji it doesn't exactly fit with Wottes comments about bringing in better players. The last time i looked we weren't in the same division as Stevenage Borough and he wasn't even good enough for them!
  20. Time will tell who's right.
  21. If no-one wanted to pay more than peanuts that's hardly surprising. Most of our squad are League 2 standard with a few of League 1 standard and few of CCC standard. If we could only attract nonimal offers it'd make no sense to sell.
  22. How so? I'm sure even Bournemouth, Rotherham or Luton could have signed a Stevanage reject on loan. Clubs that go/are going into administration still field teams.
  23. Man made Gloabal warming is a bit like christianity. 2000 years ago someone decided to make a martyr of a criminal to make money out of the masses, today the masonic illuminati have decided to do the same thing but use man made global warming as the excuse. That said the big con does have a benefit in the long run because the west will move away from oil to fuel sources we can provide thus breaking the hold the middle eastern states have over us. For centuries now the illuminati have been dictating how christendom (and therefore the world) functions and that's not about to change.
  24. We've not lost anyone because all our players are sh1t and no one else wants them.
  25. I reckon we've twinned up with Ujpest. I'll be interested to see which is the feeder club. Let's see who we loan out to them over the coming weeks.
