Yes, standard seems to be far lower than last season. Gubbins has really fallen away, true he made 50 the other day but seems to get bowled a lot nowadays. Orr was never any really great shakes and Albert is not too bad. Lehmann is consistent but doesn't score all that quickly, Prest ? well who could say and Brown should be nowhere near limited overs cricket.

Like you, I have very little idea how the Hundred works. I just look at the scores.

Obviously the bloke isn't a real skate, no tradition. A real skate would hope we get totally banned from everything possible.

Although you have to admire the optimism on the official site. States that we need to win at least 2 out of 3 to have a chance of qualifying. That would need the 3 sides already on 16 points to lose all their remaining matches heavily. The only hope of progressing is winning all 3 by substantial margins and hope all the others play poorly. This will not happen. Jack and Lumsden in the group for tomorrow. Still no Mayes, not released I suppose.

Vince isn't doing all that well at MI London. Made 66 once and the rest have been quite low. He had a couple of good innings in the T20 but at 190k (I think that was his auction price) he's been a bit erratic really.

Don't know if it's the same set up as the rest of Hampshire Cricket but if it is they've got it wrong across the board apart from the T20 and I suppose the women's team to which I give no consequence anyway. Hampshire cricket needs change.

They aren't going to "stuff us", they may punish the principal perpetrator of the offences. We could have suspended him at the outset and not be grannying 2 months later.

But in the words of Koko the Lord High Executioner, Let the punishment fit the crime. Chelsea's offences are in the main financial, so a financial penalty . Our offences are sporting, so a sporting penalty.

Well after one and a half overs of their innings, I think I can safely say we have virtually no chance of winning this or progressing in this competition. The team is just too weak in all départements.

A complete ban, 6 months to a year suspended dependent on no further misdeamenours and a fine of 100 k, half suspended.

And as his offences are nothing to do with touchline behaviour a touchline ban would be a bit silly really. Good for us no doubt but silly. He could in theory carry on spying at will.
