  1. He's always been error prone and yet he's still in the side season in,season out.
  2. However, "You only win when you're spying" may be heard sooner or later.
  3. Surely not. There must be some assuredly but it's nigh on 60 years ago for most I suppose.
  4. You are right, thinking about it, the two shades of blue half and half was one of our best ever shirts, had a good team to wear it too. Nobody accused us if looking like the Skates at all if I remember correctly. Old guard? Those from the Milton who started out in the chocolate boxes probably, those who watched us when we were among the best. Must be a dwindling group nowadays.
  5. Perhaps flying blind he's not the same thing.
  6. Modern football, only the Old Guard still despise the Skates to the previously required and appropriate level.
  7. Perhaps a bit of pre-match information gathering wouldn't go amiss....
  8. Tonda needs to tell the lads to stop f..ing losing the ball.
  9. Not really, professional foul. Cut across a player that had passed him.
  10. Good job you didn't watch football 50 years ago.
  11. Doubt that he knows, an absolute tosser for every occasion.
  12. Brian O'Neil and Denny Hollywood would have been proud of that tackle.
  13. Don't think I've ever seen Lincoln City on TV before.
  14. Good effort, pity a lot of batters failed dismally once again.
  15. No qualification then. What can you expect with Organ opening the bowling from one end. Needed Jack, Lumsden and Sharma to have even a faint chance.
  16. For the ladies, from looking at the table and fixtures, the only road leading to non-qualitication would be a defeat against the Rockets and an abandoned (or tied) match between Manchester and Leeds.
  17. Which means finishing above Durham and Worcs, the top two places being beyond our reach. It's as I've said. A thumping defeat for Durham at Worcs, not enough to make Worcs RRR better than ours though and a massive win for us, making 350+and bowling Derbs out for 60 or 70 sort of thing, I haven't done any projections but as said it's extremely unlikely with only the top 3 progressing.
  18. Unfortunately and without doubt wrongly I give no consequence to Women's Cricket, or Women's Rugby or basketball in any form
  19. Unlikely although possible. Durham would have to take a right old thumping at Worcs and we'd need a big big win. Even then Worcs could top us if they get a big enough win to put Durham's RRR at less than ours.
  20. Good start. Don't know if it will be enough to progress though. We might beat Derby next week as well but at the end of the day it will probably depend on what the other good sides do.
  21. So eliminated but that was always likely. Doesn't matter, no Hampshire players involved, just mercenairies who someone somewhere thought were better than they seem to be.
  22. Well, who could say. Colchester are a league 2 side and are troubling us at the back on occasions. Perhaps Saints will turn up for the second half.
  23. Skate #38 must be a serious candidate for the first red of the season. Oh no, not drinks breaks again.
  24. Unsurprising, Mbappe has sunk a lot of money into the Stade Malherbe and his mum basically runs it, weeding out all those who've contributed to the disaster of the last few seasons. Valenciennes are basically rubbish, long gone are the Glory days of yesteryear. Might go and have a look when they play Le Puy, depends when it is because Massot on a midwinter saturday evening isn't an agreeable experience as a rule.
  25. Looks like all the stands aren't open. Commentator says large crowd.... Right!!
