  1. Doubt if there are many number 1 keepers in the PL who aren't.
  2. Guly is number 10 but as there is no number 5 that kinda makes him 9th on the list. 10th surely falls on Billy Sharp.
  3. I quite liked what I saw of Green in the play-off game the other day. I like keepers that bowl the ball out well.Quick and constructive.Like Peter Schmeichel really. Could do a lot worse than Green ie Kelvin Davis.Apparently the queue for his services will be pretty long though.
  4. Still think we'll be looking for a Number 1 keeper myself, whether Camp would fit that bill I just couldn't say.
  5. People paying in cash. Can't remember the last time I paid in cash for anything, not even a loaf of bread. We've got Moneo nowadays, small change transactions on your debit card.In fact I can't remember the last time I actually had any cash in any sort of signinficant amount, can usually go 2 to or 3 weeks with about 7 euros in my pocket.
  6. Mind you when you apply to be Pope what can you expect.
  7. Isn't Bart out of contract soon anyway. Just can't see us persisting with him at all.
  8. On the fence myself but I thought he lost us the game against Reading, trying to play a role tailored for a far, far, far better player. Now if he had a role designed for his own attributes and abilities it might be different.
  9. Two goals next season huh. Might be a solution for our wayward shooting though.
  10. I wouldn't bet on him starting many games either.I'm not even sure that Cork will be a real mainstay either.Think we might see a much more powerful "relayeur" come into the side,Nigel didn't seem to be at all certain about Corky's place towards the end of the campaign, perhaps that was just an end of season fatigue thing though. If we were to stick with the 3 CMs we've got I'd expect us to see Hammond at the back and Morgan moving forward a notch.
  11. Lallana has to step up to that role in my opinion and he's well capable of doing so.
  12. I think not but then you don't really know if the scene is real or just a figment of Nina's imagination.
  13. no but there's a scene between the woman with the White Swan image and the other one who you'd imagine was more of a Black Swan type (of course in the Ballet they're both danced by the same ballerina as a rule)
  14. Saw the Black Swan the other day, strange film that.
  15. In the order then Certainly is, disgusting, violent and an absolute must to read. It's where most of us found out about homosexual behaviour, gang bangs and the slums of New York. Yes she was, that book certainly broadened her horizons aged 14 and gave her a whole new repertoire in the garden shed. NB: remembered her name and looked her up,quite famous actually, might Facebook her..see if her hand jobs are still as good. Thanks Bearsy :D:D:D A real MILF.
  16. Oh come on Bearsy are you trying to tell me that you were the only adolescent who didn't read the dog eared copy of LETB that got passed around in the school bike sheds and on the school bus.Even our little ginger haired neighbour girl with a posh mum read it.
  17. Dean Hammond seems to think that those who earned our new found PL status should be given a chance to play there or so it would seem on the latest interview on the OS.
  18. I think this point is best answered in a Ph D thesis attributed to the well known Caledonian pair of the gender challenged, Ben Doon and Phil McCavity. If that doesn't suffice for your study then there is an excellent passage on the subject in Hubert Selby Jnr's work "Last Exit to Brooklyn" where many myths are dispelled...or not.
  19. So to save a lot of forum space we should sign everybody from the 3 relegated PL teams and everybody from the 3 play-off teams that didn't get promoted, is that right?
  20. If there are any left after the sanctions for the latest bout of match fixing.
  21. what sort of bollix is that then, jeez some seem to queue up to get under the thumb as soon as possible. :smug:
  22. here ya go black and white then:rolleyes::rolleyes: Home leg obviously, doesn't look like blue and blue though, more red and white with Lisbon in their traditional green/white hoops. Can't see why there would be any change for the away leg really.
  23. What is there not to understand about Titus Bramble, he's trouble on a stick but he's got a contract a Sunderland and no NPC team can afford him even if they had any wish to do so. Do you actually know what you're taking about ?
  24. In fact ignore lists are like those red buttons on Pelican crossings, they're just there to give the punter an appearance of control. When they first appeared in Bitterne High St half of them weren't actually connected, you could push the f*ckers all day long but the lights were on a fixed sequence timer anyway. Read somewhere yesterday that having any control of the vast majority of things affecting your life is one of the great illusions of our time.
  25. Can't be much of secret that we'll need a new right back really so I'd think that we might well be one of those teams. Not so sure whether we need Rodriguez though but if Nigel thinks we do then I guess he's right.
