Last weekend was a sh*te weekend as well and the one before that.
-
Told you so, I watched it on L'Equipe TV until it got unbearable.West Ham could have been 1 up after about 15 seconds thanks to Brezovan's incompetence, hit the bar though so they had to wait another 2 minutes until they gave Vaz Te a free shot and Brezovan just watched it go in.

Apart from a pretty handy lead at the top of the Championship that is.Before the Blackpool game we were what 5 ahead of Reading and 9 ahead of West Ham although they had a game in hand, now we're 3 behind the former and 3 ahead of the latter and our GDadvantage has shrunk alarmingly, I'm not giving up but we could still blow the unblowable. If we don't go up I think Mr C will be right p*ssed off, sacking someone p*ssed off.

In fact cremation and urn burial was pretty common. Hydriotaphia is dealt with by Sir Thomas Browne in his tome of the same name. How do I know this? John Cowper Powys makes constant reference to it in Wolf Solent which is one of my favourite books,so I looked up Browne's work many years back.

don't worry they're out of it. Only Saints/West Ham/Brum/Cardiff/Blackpool/Boro are real play-off candidates now. Could have done with Boro not winning today. They and Cardiff both have relatively simple looking home games on Tuesday and they'll still be in with a shout when we go there. All in all a sh*tty 2 days. -
Probably not Gus throwing it but they should look at Brezovan he was absolutely f*cking woeful in the 15 minutes that I saw. Defence wasn't any better, just gave West Ham the ball and let them get on with it.
-
think it's more a matter of not going down by more than 10 points but I'm not sure quite how that works nowadays.
-
they were shocking everywhere, they put out a sh*te team as well.Brezovan started his circus act after about 15 secs. The FL should really really look into that game.
-
No because we just kept on winning, don't remember having a spell where we got 4 from 4 last year .
-
don't get many of those in the Annual Bookies Benefit bash.
-
what difference does that make?Puts Leicester outside of any play-off hopes and the rest is unimportant. Bristol City just doesn't matter Donny,Pompey and Coventry are down.
-
who cares, awful player
-
Hmmm looks like us getting dicked at home last night has given West Ham a new least of life.Still we can still control our destiny.
-
As long as Cardiff don't win they'll still in with some sort of chance.
-
but you can say that about so many games and not just for us either. Still think that not crushing Skates could be prejudicial to us though.
-
Brighton ran out of steam a month ago, don't know why anyone expected anything more from them today.
-
Obviously shot their bolt against Reading the other day, apparently they won but lost if you see what I mean, just like us last night.
-
Always been a decent keeper, judged on a mistake or two he made for England but that's something that happens England keepers, must be something they put in the tea.
-
we've had a shocking fortnight so we should be used to it by now.
-
Of course they will, same as will Leicester, if they lose at Millwall today and Cardiff win, well that's about the beach for them as well.
-
With what I saw for 10 minutes West Ham would still be winning 3-0 even if they hadn't even turned up yet.Brighton just gifted them 3 goals..absolute giveaways.
-
Watched 10 minutes of West Ham-Brighton, can't take any more of that,it's as if they are throwing the match.
-
I'd have to look again, thought hitting Harte made it go into the ground
-
Think the physionomy of the game probably led to a bit of tiredness in our players. We were all over them from the start and then suddenly we found ourselves chasing the game for 35 minutes or so.A better balanced bench might have made quite a bit of difference, had we had say a real CM available, but Pompey screwed us over again there as well.

It's all gone quiet from the "we only need eighty points" brigade....

88/87 was always going to be the absolute minimum because it's been a 3 horse race for such a long time. 3 sides in the League are vastly superior to all of the others (well maybe Birimingham are handicapped by their start) It's just a good thing that West Ham's home form has been so poor because if not last night would have been curtains for us on the automatic promotion front.
