Didn't play in the Championship with Peterborough last season and score 11 goals then??
-
Winning 9 out of 12 will do the trick, maybe 8 and a draw who knows.Only 3 main stumbling blocks left though unlessCharlton have a sudden revival which probably won't happen. Can't believe that over 1/4 of votants on the Echo poll think that we will not obtain promotion at all...miserable bastards.
-
Probably supporting Sheff U nowadays, going by the name of Tartan Blade or something like that.
-
The bank holiday game will help them out no end though so it's a logical choice.
-
Especially with the players we'd have left.We will go up though so it won't be a problem.
-
Plus CMS is a very solid player who is also extremely quick, doesn't get barged off the ball easily and stays upright most of the time. If I were a Posh fan I'd be seriously ****ed off if they let him go with 10 games left to play and all to play for.We know he's going after the season ends anyway.....
-
Still don't see why they would even consider a loan move for him at this stage of the season. Would we consider letting Ox or Lallana go out on loan right now ?? No we wouldn't, we're just a handful of games away from the end of the season, waiting on won't change the value of the player anyway ,it won't happen.
-
But why would Peterborough autodestruct their bid for promotion with 10 games of the season left? Promotion would bring them increased revenues and they can still sell CMS a few days after the season ends anyway.
-
Ah yes forgot that was on TV, and other than that ?
-
Out of interest anyone know when we last won a televised game?
-
Hope not unless we're in second place already by then, all 3 sides have easy games.
-
In fact our rivals are putting the pressure on us with these winning runs. It's not yet a critical situation as we'd currently need about another 26/27 points from a possible 36. If Huddersfield and Peterborough carry on though (don't forget they play each other shortly) and the Orient and Brighton away games become "must win" then our quality will be severely tested.
-
Well I guess they won't miss him when he's gone then will they.Every striker misses more than he scores otherwise there would either be zero chances or 15 goals a game. You only have to look at all the players that the football cognoscenti at SMS didn't rate to know that by and large football fans know absolutely f*ck all about players.

Agreed, Norwich and Leeds both changed their keeper in the close season. -
I really can't see that it will make all that much difference to the player. He's got 11 games, maybe 13 or 14 left. After that he's been promised his exit visa, can't see him turning *****y,it's the way it's done in all leagues apart from the UK of course. No loan windows anywhere else.
-
I'd doubt that it's that far actually, I used to drive between the 2 places from time to time and it didn't take all that long.
-
Obviously a bit deluded then, those 25000 fans are probably wondering why they hired Megson in the first place.Stupid decision, same as sacking Pa.. ......kinson I guess. You sometimes have to wonder just how football chairmen feel when one of their decisions goes so obviously wrong, do they think "well I really firked up there didn't I"

Depends if peterborough have sold a lot of tickets I guess, can't be that far, 70/80 miles something like that!

Make sure your vaccinations are up to date then. -
Nah better edit that out, the Swiss are tetchy about that sort of thing.
-
well not really, I presume the ticket price allows you to watch all of the events in that session.

Out of interest; The side that Norwich put out last night contained only 3 players from their side that finished League 1 last season, Martin in defence, Holt and Hoolahan, the others may or may not be on the bench or injured, I don't know but it's a myth that they're in 2nd place in the NPC with last season's squad. We also will need serious strengthening at both ends of the pitch. -
On the bench maybe but I really don't see us agreeing to pay 700K for a player now (dependant on promotion of course) when we'll have all summer to strengthen our squad for our NPC campaign, if he's not in Reading's first XI he probably isn't good enough for ours either. We'll go for a straight loan with no strings attached for the time being. Looks more like agent action than club action right now. Derry said it was way way off, that's good enough for me.

why would we need him in the team on Saturday??
