I think Morgan's main problem at the moment is changing direction, typical of medial ligament injuries.Most of them are cause by skiing, especially when you're crap at it.He can run in a straight line, accelerate and slow down but changing direction rapidly probably isn't on. No idea as to where the deep vein thrombosis could have come from, too many kicks in the calf maybe.

I thought I caught sight of him playing in the practice game on one of the build up videos,probably the one before the Rochdale game, seemed to be just young players and first team reserves though.

But why would we lose against Bristol Rovers? Last night's performance is just a blip due to an excessive number of injuries and probably not getting it quite right at the start.

It's probably a case of the players not operating the formation correctly rather than the formation itself not working.

What's the minimum number of overs in a day nowadays? I guess if it's 90 odd and we bat sensibly it could happen.

No not wiped clean but they now have the rest of the season (7 matches then) to not get 15 bookings. In theory if Deano got booked in each of the next 6 he could be suspended for the last game and I suppose the first game of next season.

It's not whether the formation works or not,it's more about who's operating in it.

Well yes, all Abramovitch's money has brought them many plastic supporters. I remember back in 2003 when he bought them out and started buying expensive players people suddenly became Chelsea "fans".

Most of them would probably simply lose interest anyway.

He'll be lucky to find even any slush if he's not above 2000 metres. Was in Grenoble yesterday 28°C in the shade. Nearly collapsed from heatstroke whilst out running this morning, must be 25°C already and we're at 650 metres.

I suspect that we may have a bit of a rough ride tomorrow but it just doesn't matter any more. We'll get promoted but there will be no doubt much hand wringing and hair tugging if we don't win all our remaining games. We'll be really lucky to get 4 points from our next 2.

Perhaps it's like the USS Alabama, someone wanted to nuke some rogue nation and the other didn't. On the other hand it's more likely about some tart or other because most seemingly inexplicable acts are.
