Spot on Ferguson and Mackail-Smith it is and rightly so.Craig Mackail Smith is the best player in this division a real robot,missed very very few games and has scored 24 goals in all with ZERO penalties and very few free kicks.

Many top flight sports people have trouble accepting it when their time is over in sport. It leads to problems of varying degrees from minor depression to real suicidal tendancies...and worse.They always think that they can go there one more time, for another race,another season,another year,when they realise that they can't it usually aggravates the syndrome. I kind of know this from very close to home as I have a girl who was a really top class athlete until a couple of years back when she picked up a bad injury,she's young enough to come back from it one day but in the meantime there are many dark days and she goes to counselling with other sports people at the end of their careers.

As you well know I think Lambert is our one and only problem, all the rest would just fade away if we dropped him and tried something else. I don't think we can drop him though...as to why I just couldn't say.
