Some of us had the honour of playing at the Dell on a fairly regular basis for free. All this Staplewood stuff has denied many a young man that privilege.Think I must have played at the Dell on 8 or 10 occasions. There must be loads of young Saints players who will never play at SMS.

With Vokes and Pacheco Norwich will now have 4 players on loans from Premier League clubs in addition to their signings last summer. Whether they've spent a lot or not I couldn't say but they've obtained packet of players from Premier League clubs this season, players like Surman and Ward.
-
It does seem incredibly expensive, well to me anyway.
-
That would be a pretty busy life then.
-
Not quite though, if Saints under Adkins had amassed the points at the same rate as Brighton we'd have 4 points more and be in second place already. It's all very academic though as we will no doubt finish in second place anyway.
-
Quite obviously as Norwich have signed Vokes from Wolves and Pacheco from Liverpool on loan this morning.
-
4 penalties though.
-
Looks as if he plays CM though, well from the Brighton highlights anyway. Takes their penalties, 4 of his 10 this season are from the spot.

Charlton 1 - 1 Saints - Post Match Reaction

I don't really care if we were rubbish, we can be rubbish for all the rest of the season provided we get the 22/24 points we need. The time to be un-rubbish is when we're finally out of this crap league, for the time being we just need the end to justify the means. -
Leyton Orient away sold out...Extra tickets allocated

All in all they gave us nearly 3000 tickets, they probably can't do any more because of segregation. -
Because Solent seemed obsessed with recalling Puncheon last night...

Merrington is always shocking, his grasp of the English Language is limited as is his knowledge of modern day football. -
Hence Huddersfield taking just 10 points from 7 games, their fans will be devastated if that happens.W3: D1:L3 I suppose, can't see it myself.
-
I doubt that it would be welcomed as good news around here. Indifferent myself because I think we can pass on getting anyone.
-
Maybe...........if you think that Peterborough won't get more than 20 from 9 or Huddersfield more than 18 from 8, depends which one of them wins the game between them.
-
To get 89 we'd need 24,to get 79 we'd need 14
-
Even with 30 more points being Champions isn't assured. Brighton would still only need 18 from the 9 games left to them excluding ours.

In fact Chaplow hasn't looked all that great since Lallana came back full time is that it? If that's the case you'd have to wonder why exactly, I'd say it's because they're nigh on incompatible in the same side.Chaplow is a naturally offensive player and so is Lallana.Leaves the rest of midfield woefully short.
-
24 would be good
-
Rudy Raba?? I think he does facebook (but I don't) you could trying looking him up there.
-
Nah; just old age I expect. Why they're still flying those old tubs who knows.
-
that will be handy then.

Unless it's a done deal already I'm not sure that he'll even go to Arsenal this close season.Unless they win the EPL (which isn't very likely) Arse are going to have to change their recruitment policy and buy players for now and not 10 years hence. They've got a massive group of players (40 or 50) but can't find a striker or a central defender for love nor money on many occasions.Sooner or later being a glorified football academy will have to stop.

Oh the bookings on that Soccerbase site are all wrong. He wasn't booked against Walsall the other week although it was widely reported that he was, still been booked 3 times since his suspension though. I looked it all up the other day but can't remember the precise details now. Here you go, stange place to find it though http://www.yeoviltown-mad.co.uk/southampton/player/season_140/dean_hammond_11848/index.shtml

Charlton have lost 7 of their last 8 and drawn the other one.The last team they beat was Peterborough back in February.Since then they've succombed to some real rubbish so no I don't think a win would be all that great.
-
Did Hammond not get booked in both of our Carling Cup games??? He's on 8 bookings. He was suspended for 1 match Oldham (H) and he's had 3 bookings since.
