well not really, I presume the ticket price allows you to watch all of the events in that session.

One of those "Who would you keep next season?" Threads
Window Cleaner replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
Out of interest; The side that Norwich put out last night contained only 3 players from their side that finished League 1 last season, Martin in defence, Holt and Hoolahan, the others may or may not be on the bench or injured, I don't know but it's a myth that they're in 2nd place in the NPC with last season's squad. We also will need serious strengthening at both ends of the pitch. -
On the bench maybe but I really don't see us agreeing to pay 700K for a player now (dependant on promotion of course) when we'll have all summer to strengthen our squad for our NPC campaign, if he's not in Reading's first XI he probably isn't good enough for ours either. We'll go for a straight loan with no strings attached for the time being. Looks more like agent action than club action right now. Derry said it was way way off, that's good enough for me.
-
why would we need him in the team on Saturday??
-
what Oxo thing ??
-
You're right, he was booked in both League Cup games instead. You only have to go back to his 1 match suspension for 5 yellows and count forward from there, he's on 8 bookings. The OS isn't right, they only had him on 4 when he was suspended.
-
6 yellows in the League, one in the JPT and 1 in the Carling Cup, total 8.
-
Probably because he's now playing with the best manager that he's ever had.Managers and coaches make a vast difference to players.
-
they've obviously noticed Jose holding down the 2 Bournemouth dwarfs all by himself.
-
Certainly isn't, they'll want to give themselves every chance of avoiding relegation although it looks extremely unlikely anyway. Never know though, they're all pretty crap down that end of the table and one decent result could swing it for any of them.
-
Well hopefully it won't come to that. Not even sure on Dickson's status, may have to deputise for Harding next Saturday.
-
because you need to be able to win the ball to move it forward, if you can't win the ball in midfield you are f*cked.
-
we're talking about worst case emergency scenarios here and we have no-one else if Hammond had to go off or wasn't available.
-
but a far better ball winning and defensive solution than Guly. Can't pass the ball if you can't win it and being down to 10 wouldn't help.Look what happened to Gobern..........
-
There is no way Guly is a central midfielder in the English sense of it.He'd be comfortable in the Lallana or Chamberlain role but he'd be crap in the tackle and would probably get sent off within minutes. Chaplow is already limited enough in his defensive qualities,we don't need to burden ourselves with Guly as well.If the worse comes to the worst I'd do what Derry suggested and move Fonte forward a notch.
-
Charlton haven't won in 7 or 8 games, unless they have a dramatic upturn of form they're no threat to anyone, just easy points.
-
Just as well really but Fonte does seem to be getting away with a lot of dirty play in our penalty box,we can only hope that numerous annotations by opposing managers on referees' reports don't get ref's attention brought to it for future games.
-
Hammond is on 8 yellows,Chaplow only 7 but he's picking them up at an impressive rate of late. I'd think the chances of us making the next amnesty without one of them being either injured or suspended are virtually zero. The Plymouth game being postponed might help though.
-
Their recent away form is excellent, won 3 of 3, everything has changed at Peterborough since Ferguson has got them back under control. He's brought back Zakuani into the centre of their defence and has them scoring almost at will. They might crack, so might we,so might Brighton but on recent form everybody Brighton,Saints and Peterborough are much on a par.
-
Not really, Brighton can probably afford to lose nearly half of their remaining games and still be champions.Their current form is as good as or better than ours or Peterborough's.
-
Obviously true but it all depends on how you rate our chances at Brighton really, depends if we're capable of going there and beating them because if not then that leaves Peterborough a point in front of us and it's down to individual game results.
-
they've changed a central defender of late don't know the whys and wherefores though.

Bournemouth 1 - 3 Saints - Post Match Reaction
Window Cleaner replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
There are some new photos up on the OS,better not let any Bournemouth supporters look at them though. One shows Kelv tipping it over the bar with Fonte holding one player by the neck and pushing the other down with his elbow. It must be remembered that fouls in the 18 yard box are sanctionable whether they're on the ball or not. -
To be honest you're not going to get anything for a player who's out of contract in a few weeks time.In our case I think that affects Harding,Gobern,Jaidi,Martin,Holmes,Pulis and Connolly. We might get something for Martin on a tribunal basis but as he wasn't from our academy I doubt that it would be much.Gobern is a different matter though but as he has little first team experience to speak of we won't get megabucks from a tribunal.
