  1. Unless it's a done deal already I'm not sure that he'll even go to Arsenal this close season.Unless they win the EPL (which isn't very likely) Arse are going to have to change their recruitment policy and buy players for now and not 10 years hence. They've got a massive group of players (40 or 50) but can't find a striker or a central defender for love nor money on many occasions.Sooner or later being a glorified football academy will have to stop.
  2. Oh the bookings on that Soccerbase site are all wrong. He wasn't booked against Walsall the other week although it was widely reported that he was, still been booked 3 times since his suspension though. I looked it all up the other day but can't remember the precise details now. Here you go, stange place to find it though http://www.yeoviltown-mad.co.uk/southampton/player/season_140/dean_hammond_11848/index.shtml
  3. Charlton have lost 7 of their last 8 and drawn the other one.The last team they beat was Peterborough back in February.Since then they've succombed to some real rubbish so no I don't think a win would be all that great.
  4. Did Hammond not get booked in both of our Carling Cup games??? He's on 8 bookings. He was suspended for 1 match Oldham (H) and he's had 3 bookings since.
  5. Could even be part of next season as well if he's had to have ligament repair surgery. As the club likes to keep us guessing about all injuries one just can't say.
  6. 2nd May 3pm is all you need to know.
  7. It will depend on how we get on this evening I expect, no bookings,no injuries=nothing happening. The Plymouth game being put back changed everything.
  8. We should win, 1-0 or 2-1 maybe but Charlton cannot go on losing for ever, would be handy if they stopped 3 weeks from now though. When a side's gone into free-fall as they have you always get slightly concerned that one day there will be a rebound.
  9. Oh it happened alright.........oh my what a give away never mind.
  10. And bringing the B2s from Missouri, where does that fit in?
  11. I have a Citroen with stop and go, engine stops every time the car does. Don't know how it works though it just does.
  12. Looks more like Milan, is that not Sam Allardyce in the front row?
  13. Although FF says he's out for the season.
  14. Well for a few quid more most RaRs will smash up the place a bit as well, **** on the carpet etc.
  15. to all those who have loaned things to elderly neighbours and relatives who have then given said things away to the unneeding there is a solution, get rent a robber to go round and nick it back. You used to be able to find a rent a robber in any pub or club, ideal for transforming the wife's extravagances into insurance cash.
  16. it really depends who is available at this stage of the season. No point in getting someone in who can't play the role. It's a position where there are many injuries and a lot of cards (look at Scholes,19 league starts,9 yellow, not to mention our own contingent). I really can't think of any player who might be available who could really do a job for us.
  17. Democracy in the Arab world, that'll be something new then. It's something that they just don't understand.Whereas others protests via the urns or in the streets the arabs protest with RPGs,suicide bombings and Kalashiikovs.
  18. And did that work?? I really doubt it, AL doesn't have the attributes necessary for CM, then again few do.
  19. There must be some cost involved though, then the tickets would be in batch of say 200/250 with quite a few sellers so all the tickets from 001 to 731 weren't necessarily sold. Seems strange that only 700/800 tickets were sold.
  20. Well we shall see come Thursday, I'm not sure that we're desperately in need of anyone but the manager has hinted otherwise.
  21. He'll probably call the match off because the tea from the catering stalls is too hot then.
  22. Never mind the England call ups, what we need is someone available to finish off stubborn opposition 7,8 and 9s.It's been a big problem for Hampshire these last couple of years.
  23. Do you think The Liebherr's watch The Simpsons?
  24. If they're liquidated they don't exist any more so relegation doesn't come into the argument. They'll simply no longer exist and won't play any games.
  25. the Liebherr's what?
