he is probably the best natural finisher we have right now.... lambert is obviously class but connolly is (or seems to be) lethal in the penalty area

agree with this ..I would not want to lose to charlton in the JPT..I think it would be great for the team to have a day out at wembley.. as for the FA cup....I would rather we did not enter this season.. watching the FULL team play friday night in those conditions was not my cuppa... should we lose lambert, we would be well and truely stuck IMO.... but then again, football works in funny ways.. connolly (from what I have seen) is a great "fox in the box" type of striker...a great partner for lambert..
