oh I agree..i was not putting crouch down..poor choice of words by me.. I really like crouch good footballer, good pro and seems to be one of the good guys... Hope he does well at spurs and Arry does know how to use him talent properly..im sure Crouch with defoe/keane will be pretty darn good

thing is with crouch...he is unique really...a decent target man who is pretty darn good with the ball at his feet.. sure he has been crap at pompey, but thy were playing him as a lone striker...that i not his game really (like rasiak)...he did well for us when he had quick players around him pulling defenders around...crouchie does get you 15+ goals a season really... Personally, I Think Arsenal have missed a trick..they are after a new striker and he would fit in perfectly with the players they have IMO

thing is... when any other managr comes out with rants like that, they are laughed at for being "mental"...when fergie says anything the press say he is "calculated".. Look at Rafa last season when he pointed out that he felt Fergie/Man U got a lot of leeway at etc..to be fair, the points he gave, made sense, like the gap between CL games and the next league game, the fact man u played the other 3 big teams at home in the second half of the season etc...they were thought out points well made..yet he was ridiculed...why..? the press are terrified incase Fergie stops speaking to their papaer/radio etc like he has done with the Beeb

Does anyone actually have any sympothy for them..? I do not and hope they fall lower than we have...how many times do they (their fans) champion themselves as the best fans in the country.. I agree with you we never HAD "our club"...it is a cute idea that fans love to believe in.. one way or another, someone is in charge... we, as fans play our part by turning up cheering/booing the team as required and make noise and make the atmosphere etc.. other than that...cant see what the problem is

to be fair..it is not most in this league would dream to have rasiak, john, KELVIN in their teams at least thrown in a lallana, murty, thomas and maybe harding too by all means we need to improve but to suggest (and some still do) that we should be happy just to survive this season is utterly daft with another 3 good additions we could well go all out for the play off from where we start
