you are correct...but the league is the league and you have to play those games...IF NC wanted the league as number 1...I reckon he saw 17 points as too many...especially if he and pardew were thinking differently about the cups...etc

no mater how you slice it..we dropped 17 (out of 30) points straight after cup games....what I am trying to say IF..IF what NC wanted was true...in that the league was number 1...he may well have seen the 17 points lost and thought it was too many and maybe some players SHOULD have been rested...if that meant going out of the cups early as a result for a better shot of the playoffs..then so be it it matters not now anyway

when I go..I park near the Jurys inn...it costs about £3 for a sat game and free for the evening games..and about 10 mins (max) walk to the ground why on earth would people pay £10 to park is madness
