looks like it may happen on the V class subs...which is a class of sub I have never served on and likely never will..they have a small seperate bunk space that has a small adjacent heads/shower room. I only have a few more years left of "sea time" so will 99% avoid going to sea with females on submarines.. IMO, this is the beginning of the end of end of the SM service.. but that is just my opinion.

In the forces, we get council tax breaks....you get a pecentage off for the time you are serving away from the UK...but it is nothing really... also, to top that up..if you live in barracks, you have to pay council tax in lieu (which is a small fee) regardless of the fact you pay CT at your home address. in short, if you are away from the UK for 6 months, you get something like 2 months counil tax free when you work out your savings (or something very similar)...you have to claim for it when you get back..which again, turns out to be its own epic

you have no idea of that... unless you think wolves, west ham, bolton, boro etc could not offer more wages than saints.. they dont even need to do that..just offer the same and the incentive is there to move UP
