would be the worst kind of spin surely.. people will automatically mention trident..when in the cost of that is spanned over a 40 year period so the yearly savings would not be big enough.. they simply want to reduce the numbers in the forces...which is a completely different kettle of fish... we are close (if not at all) to having the smallest service for 300+ years.. with the ways of the world, it is worrying....

one generally feeds the other.. would hull play better if lampard, rooney, Ferdinand and essien were in their team..? I think pompey are the greatest example of how money does and will make you play better

but tha nature of the beast in lower league football is high turnover of players....we are by no means an exception at all signing a £1.5m defender from the league above when the nearly the rest of football is scratching around for pennies is massive intent really

if we dont finish in the playoffs..I would like to think we would have a good run in and finish within 10 points of 6th..... I still think that if we are within 9 points of the playoffs with 10 games to go...we can still do it

I would think the signing of a player "too good for league 1" for £1.5m (which is way ahead of anyone else in this league, nearly all of the CCC and some of the prem) in january tells me they think they can get the playoffs this year.. if that is not a sign of intent, I dont know what is.... add that to the signing of seaborne, etc etc..

they usually do it for the safety of the punters.. police in that part of the world are not like PC Biggins in the local village.. maybe they were a tad aggressive in their tone..but if they got people in and out of the New Den relatively safely, they will call it a good job done... you have to wonder about the whole mantality when there has to be a seperate walk way for away fans amd the back of the away end is like a cage...

from my time over the years of going to games..home and away, football fans (in general) act like morons...some generally are awkward (i have done this plenty of times inn the past) provoke away fans etc etc..you only have to look at the northam every home game... no doubt the police are well drilled to get people in and our of, lets be honest, dodgy places like south bermondsey safely.... the times incidents happen is when people venture away from the general main police cordon....

I never said you did get nasty..but you only have to look on here (and the lounge) for less than 3 minutes to see people getting up tight.. as for morgan..there have been no end of posts/threads through out the season from people saying he is "not that good".. I think he is, but that is me...I have not seen him much at all this season..so that means my view (which is opposite to alpine) is also less valid...?? does it really matter who is valid and who is able to go every week...this is a message board ffs...people the world over use it, make comments and give opinion.. maybe we would have more NEW users if those who do post, who cant go to game didnt get so much crap for posting an opinion...
