  1. Refugees. Don’t know the numbers for Russia but the majority of refugees are from the Ukraine for reasons that dont need explaining.
  2. Are you claiming that Trump’s slashing of the refugee ceiling -the number of refugees allowed into the US- by more than than half and amounting to the lowest level in US postwar history is more about bad manners than substance?
  3. You know the point. Do you agree with the statement? Simple question.
  4. “It is hard to avoid the conclusion that this is more about bad manners than substance” Do you agree?
  5. Are you claiming that there are no differences between Obama and Trump. It’s all manners; nowt to do with behaviour. How many Syrian refugees has Trump allowed to enter the US?
  6. Don't worry, just wait till the Heritage Foundation weigh in on the debate and bring everyone around to their senses. One of the most moronic things about the Brexit plan is the decision to exclude services as if the US is dying to open its market to UK legal, accountancy and financial services
  7. Sergei - the % of the EU budget going to agriculture has fallen from 70% in 1986 to 30% in recent years (rural development adds a few more percentage points, though most of this is directed towards economic diversification and is a challenge to vested interests). All this is despite the fact that the 13 countries from Eastern Europe that have joined the EU since 2000 have significant farming sectors, especially Romania and Bulgaria. Spending has fallen, even before you take into account reforms to make the CAP greener, more efficient and transparent. There will continue to be resistance to change and perhaps we'd all like to see spending fall further; but to suggest nothing meaningful has happened is jihadist horses**t (pun intended). If you're going to bat for the loons pal, at least, try not to be so intellectually lazy and illinformed.
  8. Exactly. It's a curious omission: the US puts more in than others, in return, it enjoys disproportionate influence. That's the quid pro quo. Should others pay a bit more? Yes and Trump is simply reiterating the policy and position of previous presidents rather than doing anything new. Either way, its an arrangement that has benefited all parties - never mind there are obvious historical reasons why spending by states such as Germany is relatively low.
  9. What mistake. When you google Juncker, literally the first link is to a bbc story. Simple.
  10. I thought no BBC story existed a few mins ago
  11. As opposed to the hate-filled s**t spewed by Trump. Glad you've got your priorities straight pal.
  12. I'm saying that the BBC article is the first link featured. No more, no less.
  13. Even after the summers signings, still must be some change left in the VVD kitty to afford you some happy pills. Cheer up pal.
  14. Literally the first result when you google Jean Claude Juncker. But hey it's scandalous that Trump's threat to NATO, a charged visit to the UK, the publication of a critical white paper are all considered more newsworthy pal.
  15. No evidence that Yoshida was trying to jump ship or engineer a move - perhaps the club was entertaining offers for players in the event we went down.
  16. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-44812352 Good lad. Glad your trust in the BBC's impartiality runs so high.
  17. Seems the jihadists don't have a problem when its Trump or the Russians meddling in the UK's internal politics.
  18. It’s jlingz to lord d.
  19. Looks like a goggly, freaky jimmy bullard.
  20. It’s because there is little or no dropoff in quality to Trippier. Arguably the opposite. Would you be happy playing Targett to accomodate Bertrand as a CB?
  21. Spurs fans saying Kane hasn’t looked sharp since his ankle injury against Bournemouth in March.
  22. Don’t you just make up the numbers for them anyway?
  23. Would rather have Romeu than PEH but that’s pretty close.
