  1. Yep hands down and who would have guessed Lawro has a thing for the dippers (as the other scouse journo himself concedes).
  2. OK that fits. Nik Nak was hardly the hotel-on-Old-Kent-Road type.
  3. Where in London was this office?
  4. On the surface and if true, seems a sensible move.
  5. Followed by one of the funniest lines of the series so far "Good to see you commit to something”.
  6. If Nik Nak was still in charge, this wouldn't have happened. Kit Kat = soft touch.
  7. F**k sake this lot are bitter. Retarded is a given. http://kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=151872&start=100
  8. Or worse, firefighting.
  9. Pay peanuts get monkeys You or Bazza would be a shoe in.
  10. Not so simple - its not just a matter of 'small and unlikely' gains. Now days finishing 10th more often than not means a squeaky bum to the end of the season and the risk of relegation. Spending 'decent amounts' and occupying 7/8 which is increasingly its own little league gives you that downside protection, at the very least.
  11. Fair enough - you've certainly maximised your chances of getting a response - interested to hear how it pans out.
  12. This aggression will not stand. Who have you written to? Hopefully not to some vacant jobsworth.
  13. Having one or more of our players going to the WC with the national side -the first time in nearly 30 years- would be pretty memorable.
  14. Prefer that combo - as long as we don't overuse the direct ball to Lambert, perhaps let him drop deeper as he did in the 2nd half against Fulham, I fancy giving some problems. Jrod was excellent up there last season against those two (Reid was FB that day) - Lambert was actually dropped. Shame Gallagher is still a bit raw as he could stretch them.
  15. And the odds of Lallana being booked for diving?
  16. Of all games, esp the way we enamoured ourselves with them at their gaff in 2012. FFS
  17. Didn't realise it was so low in the Prem -dellhurst park apart. If so, no chance they'll go on general.
  18. Fair enough, thinking of our last allocation in 2012 that was close to 6000.
  19. By all accounts, they were pretty poor against Cardiff and Norwich and if it weren't for better finishing, they could have quite easily lost both games. Winston Reid's return is a big factor in their defensive revival but still fancy we'll get a goal, esp with Jrod's pace in what looks to be a classic under 2.5 game.
  20. If so taking my cues from the finest pal
  21. Plenty of backtracking and claiming it was all a big PMSL joke when it was exposed to be bull****. The way it was discussed on UI where wummery takes a different form suggests those who peddled it on here were pretty earnest. Also supported by the fact that the very same helmets who were convinced of meddling by NC were joining all kind of weird and wonderful dots at the time - the interpretation of Adkins Swansea prematch in which he claimed that he was going to do things differently i.e. take the players away for a short break, not die on his sword and play his own team/formation remains a crowning achievement in mongboard mongery. Either way, if it was a joke (and by the end it probably was), means the benefit of doubt is against them when they desperately claim they are just expressing a strong opinion not trolling whenever they are subsequently called out.
  22. Fill your boots, pal - you'll have the whole Arthur Wait stand to yourself as the great and good of the mongboard have decreed there is now little or nothing to play for. Ordinarily we take 3000-4000 and tickets get snapped up pretty quickly. West Ham went to general sale, so you should be able to get one.
  23. Ep 5 of True Detective again confounding expectations as things are tied up very quickly before jumping ahead 7 years and joining with the present. If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean.
  24. Spoiler- will lezzer action do? though to your temper excitement, it's more Anna Friel-Brookie era than anything else. The Latino bird of the English photographer is also promising, though so far she has been criminally underused.
