I apologise for posting something too cryptic/ironic for some without the nouse to understand. This mongboard posting is such serious business for the likes of yourself, I really should have known better.

This is not just about Lallana. People are missing the point here....players come and go, but if you asked any fan 8 months ago who would be the LEAST likely player to leave the club based their current standing, many would have said Lallana. What has changed in that time? And why can the Board no longer retain players like Adam on lengthy contracts? I've just forked out a significant amount of money on an increased cost ST when the club is starting to lose its best players and probably its best performing Manager. Excuse me if I'm feeling a bit peeved about that!

Big enough to post an apology? Probably not.

Mopo is an excellent Manager with an excellent coaching staff. The squad worked their butts off for them because they believed and saw the results. Breaking it up will endanger next seasons performance - how much who knows, however I have little faith that we'll see the same starting 11 playing for the same Manager.

Interesting suggestion. But anyway I was asking if anyone had heard similar, as frankly the suggestion made me question what the hell was going on in the minds of the Board.

I've mentioned some other stuff on other pertinent threads. To be honest, as usual with this place, there's too many idiots who think posting a rumour is a capital offence, so I'll not be posting anymore now...(waits for incoming from said usual suspects who will say my retreating means I've made it all up). Nope - no wind up here...just passing on some info I've heard...nothing more, nothing less. And why not invite another Prem Manager to SMS - what would be the problem in that? Perhaps it's part of Ralph's new approach for an open and honest discussion about how Saints can show the rest of the FL how we're so successful? Maybe.

It's a fair comment, however having been fleeced by the likes of Lowe for so many years I'm particularly 'sensitive' to hearing rumours that our best players are being sold AFTER I've forked out on a new ST. Not sure there's the supposed transparency going on that Ralph would like us to believe TBH.

No and if you had one iota of sense, you would have seen that there was a very specific point to one I was making in that particular thread. If I had to explain it to you, you would probably not understand.

Interesting how this is still being discussed in earnest. For me the kit the team will be wearing pales into insignificance when compared to the composition of the team that will be starting the next season under a new Manager.

According to info I received today from someone at the awards dinner who discussed Mopo with a very reliable source, he's gone. Very disappointing if true - the new Board do not appear to be convincing key individuals that the 'new five year plan' is viable. #itshappeningbutnotasweexpected

Oh dear chaps - heard today from someone at the awards dinner (who heard first hand from an incredibly reliable source) that Adam is defo off. I'm not happy with that to be honest - 4 years on contract...badge slapping...captain? Poor. Heard some other concerning stuff too. #itshappeningbutnotthewayweexpected

You're right Cortese was effectively forced out...he was offered the prospect of Freddy looking over his shoulder and reporting back to KL. Not exactly the environment he was used to or one in which he could deliver unhindered continued success. Wrong or right, Cortese was handed a poison chalice...we're starting to get a flavour of the new world offered to him...great front, poor delivery. Bit like the Lib Dems. (-;
