Good post. He is part of our improving team. He's young and has played every league game this season. Perhaps people compare his progress to AL but lallana is a different class

One of the best players on the pitch today and on boxing day. Crosses are the best in the team and corners looked dangerous all day today. He does a good job but people will always look for someone to blame.

Hammond (I think it was him who had the shot) did look slightly ahead of everyone else to be fair. Lambert hitting the post was a bigger moment. So unlucky.

On way back now. We didn't turn up in the first half however dominated the second. We should have had 3 or 4 in the second half and were unlucky hitting the post. Think its time to bring KD back in. Colchester aren't better than us, it was just lapses in concentration that cost us. Looking forward to some new faces coming in to give us options off the bench. Fair play to Lambert,Harding and James today. These three had good games.

What about the guy in 41 about row CC who thought he was the manager and slated Pardew for everything he did. According to him Pardew 'Doesn't have a clue and is an idiot.'. He even was telling the defence how to position themselves. Makes me laugh.

Like a few have said, the midfield were quite quiet going forward today, therefore Rickie & Connolly didn't have much. Thought Morgan had a very good game along with James. Great effort by Lambert at the end! Colchester will be a big test.

He's played every league game this season, so he is doing something right. We all know when he's being run at by quick wingers he struggles but other than that he does the job. Give him a break. He deserved that bit of luck for his goal today.

I could see our big players leaving in a years time if we aren't up near the top come January 2011 but certainly not worried about anyone leaving this season or in August. I'm more looking forward to us poaching other league 1 clubs decent players.

I really rate Simeon Jackson and would love to see him sign for us. Beckford would obviously be nice to have but I don't think it's going to happen. A quick CB has got to be the priority.

I was there actually and to be fair to papa, yesterday he did well helping Thomas out but I think Antonio can do an equally as good job and looks great going forward. What do people think, sign him up or will it be a case of extending the loan till the end of the season (it runs until Jan at the moment doesn't it)?

I just think Antonio has been more effective than Papa that's all. I like his pace.

For me, I would have him over Papa on the wing. He looks very dangerous and long throws are a great asset for Lambert in the box. I also believe he helps out the RB alot more defensively.

He does get 'done' a few times at RB but I honestly think he is a decent CM. Yesterday he was up against the best team in the league and didn't really settle. I still think he can do a job in there, perhaps in the 4-5-1 when he has someone holding behind him so he's given a license to roam.

Totally agree. He may not be up there with the quality of Lallana but he can do a job wherever needed and it is good to have a player like this in the squad for when there are injuries etc which is more or less what he has been doing this year. A player who can play 3 or 4 positions is very useful in this league especially with alot of fixtures.

Leeds didn't really miss a hatful of chances but being the home team, yoy expect them to create a little more. However, having just got in from the game, I felt Leeds managed to handle Lambert, Lallana and Connolly incredibly well. They shut us down quick and they looked quite good at the back. Shame we didn't really create anything until the 88th minute but wow how good would that have been in Harding had pinged it in the top corner! Lambert also really close. Perry played very well, likewise Jaidi. James didn't do much in the centre which was where I think it was lost today. We couldn't get it out wide as Pardew said, thus didn't create much. Didn't think Papa had his best game either. Not much between us and Leeds in all honesty, but I would probably say they just shaded it on the day. It will be completely different when they come down here, hopefully we will have 2 or 3 quality new additiosn to our team. Great support again!
