  1. Connolly is excellent at running and running and running. He is also dangerous and will take a half chance. He may not have had his greatest game yesterday but he is very good player to have in the side. I think it is time to go back to the 4-5-1. Bring Wotton back into the midfield along side Hammond & Schneiderlin. I think Thomas is a bit sketchy at RB so would rather keep James there.

    Antonio

Thought he played well today. Definitely look more dangerous than Papa at the moment.
  3. Agreed. Personally I would have James in the centre with Hammond and give Hammond he license to roam with James sitting there. That would mean dropping Morgan. Will give us a kind of Plan 'B'.
  4. Easily defended as no-one was attacking the ball. What more can he do. Every cross was put in the right area for someone to attack it but nobody did. People also forget he isn't a natural right back, so give him a break.
  5. It was one game, for goodness sake.
  6. Brighton were up for it and we wern't. Hammond missing that sitter was the 'turning point'. Had he put it in, I would of expected us to go on and win it. Defence were asleep for the first half an hour, with player out of position. I think we will see a completely different performance against Norwich and I think we will win it.
  7. Luton wasn't it?
  8. Adam is proving he is a quality player with very impressive performances. What do people think will happen in the next couple of years? Obviously Pardew sat him down in the summer and persuaded him to stay. We are not a selling club anymore, but if a big offer comes in then do you think it would be accepted? Personally I think if his impressive performances continue, then he could move on in the Summer or Jan 2011. Obviously want him to stay but is it a matter of time?
  9. Do you think season ticket holder will snap up all of these?

    Mellis?

It's a tough choice. I would probably just lean towards Trotman over Antonio if I had to choose.
  11. Should get about 1150 tickets for this, not too far away. Would expect us to progress.
  12. http://atdhe.net/ Good site for sports
  13. Looking at Charlton today, we should win on Wednesday. They look completely different to when we played them earlier this season.
  14. Irvine isn't going to come out in the media and say 'Neal has no future here etc'. If we offer decent money for Trotman then I would expect it to be accepted.
  15. Can somebody tell me where the coach stops at Flemming Park? Does it come into the car park? Or does it stop out on the road? If so, wherebouts?
  16. Damn! Is there anyway I can add the photo's?
  17. Why does Swindon have pretty much every players picture but Saints only have a few. This is upsetting.
  18. New manager won't matter. We are a much better side than Brighton and have much more quality than them. Forster looks dangerous but I would expect 3 points.
  19. Fair point that his corner wern't great against Orient but to be fair to him, in previous games they have looked alot more dangerous than Lallana's did at the start of the season.
  20. I think Pardew will play the same team on Friday that played yesterday. Like others say it's about momentum and we need to keep it going. Against Charlton we may see Hammond rested or others with niggling injuries & I expect Charlton will do the same. There is plenty of recovery time between the games, especially with us now playing the FA Cup game on Friday instead of the Saturday. I'm expecting two close wins.
  21. Looking forward to this one in December. Can't decide how to get up there. £80 on the train is quite a lot but then again 7 hours on a coach is a long time. How are others getting up there?
  22. Any ideas on how many sold? Hoping some will still be available on Wednesday
  23. We deserved a draw at least. How Lallana missed that chance in the first half was incredible, straight into the keepers hand. Then when he missed the chance in the second half after the goal mouth scramble, I honestly thought it wasn't going to be our day. But two good goals, Lambert's second being pure quality, earned us two thoroughly deserved points. Jaidi looked a bit dodge today, but Connolly looked fantastic when he came on once again. It was all us pushing for the winner and was gutted not to have got it. Nevermind another winning run in the league will start with the demolition of Brighton
  24. If Hammond plays 3-1 Saints If Hammond doesn't play 2-1 Orient I think he is such a key player for us
