  1. Holly looks like she has MASSIVE nipples
  2. Leave Stuart alone you !!
  3. Christiano Ronaldo or Thierry Henry
  4. Not heard it, bad news if it is. TBH though its not really anyone elses business.
  5. Cancer ?
  6. FFS we are going through a bad patch, we were not much better Tues !!!
  7. Seems to have taken a better offer Eg job progression somewhere else, fair play to him IMO
  8. I think we could do with another striker, though I would argue we need something different, like some pace. I just think it would be a hard sell, don't get me wrong, if we get Lukas I will be far from dissapointed, I just wonder if we will be able to finalise a deal. Nor do I think Lukas is a particularly decent player, I mean, if we do make it to the prem, I would argue we would need a prem quality striker as a priority.
  9. TBF does this actually affect you in any way ? Are you old enough for your life experiences to enable you to make a justified arguement ?
  10. Lukas is building a career for himself, if he has any sense he wouldn't come to sit on an NPC bench only to be more or less released in the prem. Do you really think if he has 3 or 4 offers he would sit on our bench ? 22 or not he is a first team regular.
  11. I can see our selling point to Lukas aswell 'Wanna come to Soton ? Just incase Ricky gets injured ?"
  12. As apposed to argueing with yourself ? which obviously just results in countless posts posturing, trying to convince everyone that you are correct and then denying you actually spend any time on this forum ?
  13. Lambert didn't really have the best of games IMO, he played ok, he won a lot in the air but he was hardly against the biggest, nastiest of defenders. Not an aweful lot of his play came off, and Guly, Lallana and Adkins all appeared to have a word with him at some point. He is still a very good player though, and vital to the way we play, a big injury will have us reeling. As for this Martin debate, he isn't technically ready for a long run in the side IMO. He is a decent enough stopper but I feel a prolonged run in the side will show us some of his weaker traits, namely his distribution. And Barnard, I don't know Derry, the lad has been out for what ? 6 months ? He is bound to be a bit behind the pace, he done okish, its a little early to judge, and TBF he was a decent enough player in the NPC. And Hypo, who's footballing knowledge is built up in the confines of his school Library, though I expect he is striking today, making sure everyones signs are grammatically correct.
  14. He didn't look his best last night IMO, he wasn't full of energy like his usual self either. But was still a constant threat, and yes, it gets on my nerves the constant baiting of him in the stands it really does. Lambert, Cork and Fonte all had reletively poor games last night, but they never get the criticism that Guly gets.
  15. PFC IMO will escape a points deduction should they remain self sufficient and solvent. The next question would be, how long can that concievably last now the life support has not just been cut off, but almost chucked out of the building ?
  16. Why is this even a thread FFS ?? Someone said Cortese may have said it once, cue MLG posting videos mocked up on youtube etc etc We are not even in the prem yet for christ sake, one step at a time and all that.
  17. Cue some ultimately stomach churning journalism using the words. 'Wonderful little club' 'Plucky underdogs' 'Wonderful fans' etc etc
  18. FL issue statement - The matter will be considered by the board of the FL when and if all the details of the insolvency of CSI have been considered. Wonderfully telling us F'all
  19. I don't think anyone has denied that teachers do a decent enough job, and that they provide a decent service, my arguement is that do you really think that you provide a much better service than anyone else ?? Christ, the water board, SEB, Train service, even Vodafone and Macdonalds provide a service of some sort, and all will be rewarded as an individual worker if they do a better job in their industry, I am sure if you are as good as you say you are then your management will realise and put into place increments in pay etc. My arguement is that the public sector seem to find themselves somewhat excluded from what the rest of the country are going through ATM, for every one of you that is moaning about pension contrubutions REGARDLESS of the fact that you will now be drawing a pension longer then yesteryear (if we take into account living longer etc) there are those in certain industries currently either out of a job or scraping for a low paid job to keep them affloat, and I am sorry, but saying that it is their fault they are not in the public sector etc is a horrifyingly shortsighted view of your fellow man. I would love to see how many would 'stand up for their jobs' if they were asked to stand on the picket line for a couple of weeks. Still, IMHO the public sector is onto a loser, even if you win this arguement I can only see your precious pensions being propped up by deeper cuts or further damaging any effective escape from the economic downturn.
  20. Aren't you actually still a student ?
  21. You knew what the job entailed when you applied TBF ? I certainly did, and I certainly 'work' pretty much every hour of every day, be it answering phone calls or carrying out some sort of engineering task, even dragging myself out of bed at the early hours to arrange for some sort of repairs to be arranged as I am moaned at by the general public for; A. The fact repairs have to be carried out B. The fact that we may be jackhammering in the early hours. Now, what gets my goat, is the fact that the public sector simply must have golden pensions, and it is obviously someone elses problem to sort out the economic downturn, 'were all right jack' mentality. Of course it is also the banks fault, but it is also the fault of the burden placed on us by things such as the benefits culture and also the fat and swollen public sector made greedy by a boom period. In one hand you moan about a slash and burn mentality by the government, and then moan about keeping public spending high and benefits within the public sector to be at a gross and unsubstatiated rate, for me it must be one or the other surely ?? As for what I said about the strikes, what I do not like is the whole guerilla tactics of them, there is not commitment, in fact, I would suspect if people were excpected to commit to a proper walk out on a larger scale we would be seeing far less of a turnout.
  22. I would have to admit that I will be voicing my opinion towards a selfish and frankly cowardly display that is happening on wednesday. In a time of such an economic mess I find it somewhat nauseating that what on the outside seems a strike designed to cause the most disruption without actually showing any real commitment from the strikers is actually happening. As for inane comments such as nobody holds a gun to anyones head in regards to the jobs they take I think I will repost later when your jobs are slashed due to the double dip recession caused, a small amount, by the greed during the boom.
  23. Or the fact we never actually wanted him ?
  24. He had about 1 good season
  25. TBF he has never been a particularly good player and is even worse now
