Lampard is a good player, I do agree, but positionally he isnt an aweful lot better than Gerrard, the dufference is he is still playing with decent midfielders were as Gerrards playing with absolute garbage ATM. My issue is that the england squad for the Euros should be loaded with players that will be in their prime at the next WC, gerrard 'may' make it, Lampard will not, add to that fact that we have consistantly wasted our second best midfielder of a generation trying to play Lamps or Gerrard together instead of utilising either in the way they play for their first teams and the fact that I still have the image of him laughing and joking after the mess of south africa and Germany.

No, he was a pretty consistant cog and the games I have seen of him has shown to be a decent, dynamic midfielder capable of winning the ball and retaining it, exactly what we need IMO And hopefully not on tons of money. That said none of us have any idea where we are aiming, but I would say in the interests of not breaking the bank these players, inc Jarvis, fletcher etc are our level

Bostwick was quality for me in my CCC and league 1 days with Crawley, for three seasons he scored about 15 goals from CB, brilliant.
