will the real Lee Barnard please stand up ..

I have always liked him, looked keen when he came on against the pool, much more running than Sharp and seemed to at least try to hold the ball up, not a bad player to have on the back burner -
Very true, we never ever got a hold of the midfield, they battled us, ran at us, pressed us and went wide, attacking our full backs so effectively was a wonder as that is where we get a lot of our width from, it stretched us. But we had plenty of possession, we just didnt have any effective out balls, Sharp was a poor choice as he just hangs on the last man, Guly is never brilliant away from home, he isnt a target man and Bpool banged him about with no help from the ref. Lets not panic though, it was one game, away after WHU had lost, Lambert is back soon and we look infinately more comfortable when he plays

Hate the weasel but he is a very good pundit, and not as boring as Wilkins, both know what they are on about though

Thats just not the way we play, stop thinking tactics in a conventional sense of a four man midfield with 2 wide men and a ball winner and a more advanced midfielder, we dont play that way. Morgan tried to play his game, lallana and chaplow his, unfortunately a lack of movement or the strikers being able to hold up a pass just didnt happen. We play with two deep midfielders, both whos job it is to control the area (ball winning, dominate space, play it around) Morgan plays more adventurous balls then cork, lallana and chappers are our advanced midfielders supporting the strikers. You cant attack with pace etc if the ball is never effectively controlled by a front man. UNLESS you play the long ball..... That didnt work either

I agree with Hypo, lets all remember that we are just a 'step up in his career' apparantly, well, not unless he ups his game and actually moves. Jesus some of you would blame guly for anything !! Was he the secret captain of the concordia too ? Jesus, he put in a lot of effort, nearly set up Sharp twice, won a peno, made some crucial interceptions and tried to get the ball off of our midfield. But obviously Sharp was better, standing still usually iffside and hitting a farking terrible penalty, would I have loved him if he had scored ? No, but atleast he would have come away with a goal from such a terrible performance. I said I would have rather had Maynard as he adds something else to his game, Lee looked the quality aquisition, Sharp looks like a punt.

TBH as soon as some of you sad acts start using grammatical mistakes on a web forum as an arguement then its game over, as for footballing opinion I very much doubt that, looking at previous. Opinions are like arseholes ? Yes But clearly you like the sight of yours considering its frieghtening frequency

Your an idiot

You really cant see the wood fir the trees can you ? Morgan and cork are our deep midfielders, morgan more of the playmaker and cork apparantly the ball winner, as far as a can tell but TBH i dont rate cork that much, he just isnt an enforcer and too often his passes find nobody, Anyway When we play with these deep midfielders it allows us to play with two attacking players, lallana primarily but also with chaplows positionally akward energy, generally we dont play with much width, we control the centre of midfield and play our football, morgs is a massive part of that. Anyone who could not see that no matter what the midfield did yesterday the movement upfront was terrible (sharp was static) and neither help ANYTHING of note up. You have never liked morgan, he isnt a luxury, taraabt of QPR was a luxury, morgan rarely misplaces a pass, I dont see that as a luxury we could live without TBH NB - saints primarily get their width from the fullbacks, both were given a torrid time by blackpools wingers and had a poor game, Fox looked to get forward but couldnt and butters, well I dont really know what he was trying to do
-
You were doing ok until the completely unrelated turd you wrote about Schneiderlin, yes he flinched on the line but IMO that was much less painfull tgan watching a completeky inmarked CB pick where he wanted to put the ball. Morgan was arguably one of the only players to come out of it with any credit, chappers had his usual hussle and bussle but seemed to catch the same bug that stopped him actually passing to anyone, Cork even worse !! How did he stay in the pitch ? Terrible performance, atleast Morgan passed a ball well yesterday but lack of movement around him and strikers being unable to hold anything at all stopped us yesterday as well as sone inept defending
-
Morgan poor ? Lallana poor ? But Cork had a decent game ? I really dont need to bother reading any more of your posts

Probably, but would love to see Ronaldo & Messi switch places, and see what impact they have. Imo barca build a team to get the best out of messi where as ronaldo is an individual in a team at real and more often than not drags them to his level.

Game of thrones is an epic glasgow

Terrible performance really, nobody played very well, sharp was awfull, even forgetting about the peno he couldnt pass wind and his movement was non existant unless it was being caught offside. The full backs were terrible, cork non-existant and even de ridder struggled, lallana and morgs played quite well. We missed lambert, the ball just never stuck upfront and with no movement or target man there was no out ball. Not a disaster though IMO, we would never win all our remaining games. I see the usual are over reacting

Sharp IMO is still short of match fitness

Similarly anyone that finds any cause of negativity no matter how small or unjust reason to bleat about it constantly

No way, I think articles like these SHOULD be brought to the attention of the public, in the same way as everyone should see the horrors of Aushwitz, hiding these things stop people from developing the opinions that lead to condemning these acts and people
