I'm a bit bored and couldn't see one of these yet. This is a really important game to show how far we've come. Smashing teams at home all next season is all well and good, but irrelevant if we cant get to grips with tough surfaces away from home. If we win here, bearing in mind our next two games are Leeds and Swindon at home where I fancy us against anyone, then by a week on tuesday things could be looking very rosy indeed. I reckon we'll do em 4-2. Lambert (2), Lallana and Fonte

I cant understand why Crouch doesnt start every game for england. 20 goals in 37 games or sumink like that is quality. Lambo is a poor mans crouch (well not that poor but you know what i mean!)

I'd like to point out that comparing Barnard to Ormerod was meant to be a compliment! I agree that Barny is more effective for us than Brett, but remember we are now in a far lower level. FWIW I would also keep Barnard in for as long as he is playing out of his skin!

Thats interesting, I'd liken Connolly more to Phillips, Barnard is more like Ormerod

If DC comes back to full fitness who would you start with? Barny works harder arguably, DC has a touch of class. Im just glad its AP who has to make the decision and not me what a problem to have!

The more I think about it, the better I think the signings of Barnard and Puncheon are. If rumour is to be believed we enquired about Simeon Jackson (1.5mil) and Neil Danns (1.5mil+), but instead we've spent roughly £350k on two top players. It shows that we are looking to be sustainable

I think theyre a very similar partnership. However (for L1) Lambo and Barney are far more effective - mainly coz Barnard can score!
