  1. I always get the train into london and then get the greyhound back to Portsmouth when I come home from uni (and vice versa on the way back). Would really recommend it, very comfortable and easy
  2. Good team. There arent many other players in the league who could get into this team
  3. I'd like to see us line up like this ----------Davis------------ Semi - Jaidi - Fonte - Harding ----Hammond - Morgan------ Papa------Lallana-----Puncheon ---------Lambert------------ Gives us the option of switching to 442 very quickly, and bringing on Antonio to scare them ****less in the last 15 mins. Dunno what all the negativity is about - i fully expect us to get a result.
  4. When this poll was first up i voted still undecided as Papa really hadnt played enough games to warrant money being payed for him However now he is starting to impress me more and more, he offers something completely different and i cant think of any other L1 teams with an asset like him. At times he is frustrating, at other times he is unplayable. His work rate is always top drawer. Yes, i think we should snap him up along with Antonio
  5. i actually rate WT quite highly at right back these days. Then again ive yet to see Otsemebor play so i cant judge who is better. FWIW i agree with u though, i dont think AP particularly likes Thomas at RB (although it seems he is now above James in the pecking order), so i do expect Otsemebor to start
  6. On paper that team should rip anyone to shreds. Antonio must be knackered so i agree with leaving him out, and Papa can really change the game if we're struggling. However i reckon Seaborne will start in place of Jaidi, dont think he's fit enough for another important game
  7. The pressure is on - Cortese saw to that. I think we'll win, although narrowly. These player we have now seem to thrive on the big occasions if last wek is anything to go by
  8. I was in itchen south yday and i thought the chapel was brilliant. Cant see us being able to create that sort of atmosphere every game though
  9. They cant go bust now, we need to beat them whilst we pass them on our way up the leagues..
  10. this thread is a joke. Davis is easily the best keeper in the league. West Ham clearly thought he was good enough. No disrespect to Bart - he will be our number one for years to come - but he isnt a patch on KD

    Trouble?

disgusting. its absolutely pathetic. its a football match FFS

    Trouble?

quote from a moron i walked past with his scarf over his face and his hat pulled down "come on if we head down that road we can give the pigs the slip and catch the ****ers at the station" I was ashamed of the whole lot of them it was pathetic. bet they didnt even go to the game
  13. exactly how i feel. very proud of the team
  14. Just back. Very proud of our saints today, they were proper up for it and deserved better. Poor finishing and superior PL fitness showed in the end. Harding, Hammond, Antonio, Lallana, Morgan and Lambert all proved that they can cut it against PL opposition. with Fonte in the team things would have been very different imo COYR
  15. so so so excited now. bring it on
  16. jolly good. How on earth are they being allowed to sign anyone anyway!? they cant afford to pay em!
  17. awful
  18. Congratulations Fergie on your moment of glory!
  19. lol thanks for pointing that out. I would never have known. Kelvin is still club captain, he still writes the captains notes in the programme. Hammond is team captain. I think they will lift it together ala Neville/Giggs.
  20. Agreed. My old man always tell me the story about how he was sat in the Fratton end when Moran scored. He barely made it out alive!
  21. Was anyone watching SSN yesterday? I must admit I was glued to it, listening to the twists and turns of their court case. I even started feeling a bit sorry for them. However, when asked about "the massive cup tie on saturday" by the presenter, the skate **** from SOS Pompey responded "well its not really a massive game, its only against a third division team". YEAH LIKE YOU'RE NOT PETRIFIED YOU SKATE ****. It really wound me up. They wonder why they get limited sympathy
  22. completely agree. Connolly is easily our best player and he adds so much quality when he plays. His movement off the ball is top drawer and his finishing is second to nobody in this league. A wasted talent really
  23. I was wondering this too. Kelvin was saying in his programme notes that he would be "so proud to lift the trophy at wembley", but my guess would be that they would do it together, Hammond and Davis one hand each
  24. hmmm tempting....
  25. Ah shame, oh well in that case id still like to see Antonio come off the bench, so maybe Waigo at RM and Barnard up front with Ricky
