-
SO if Brizzle and Dons draw and we win our game in hand, things may look possible again. Ive loved this season! Mods hurry up and unlock the match thread!
-
surely not? I havent worn my saints shirt at home since I was 10, always too scared! oh well when i get home next week i'll wander down the high street in all my red and white glory!
-
The biggest problem for me was how boring the concourses and escalator areas were! wish we could have had some pics of the 66 win, Shearer, Becks - at least something rather than the blank white walls!
-
Oh also, credit to a bunch of 10 or so carlisle fans sat a few metres from me. At 4-0 down they proceeded to chant "lets pretend we're 5-4 up!" and then went mental. I thought that was very funny

I got back to Canterbury still wearing my shirt and scarf and a guy in a Liverpool shirt starts laughing at me "unlucky mate, you was proper rubbish today" "excuse me?" "Liverpool destroyed Sunderland innit" "erm, im a Southampton fan on my way back from watching us win a cup final. Something you wont be doing this year" "yeah....well... we beat Sunderland....yeah...sorry mate" nothing was gonna bring me down yesterday!

massive lol at this thread. Only on this forum could someone find something to moan about when we win a Wembley final! It was brilliant fun, my apologies for enjoying my day at Wembley. plonker
-
Just back home after the celebrations. Fonte was MoM, brilliant today he just oozes class, followed by Harding who has slotted seemlessly into RB. Fantastic day, lets hope we are back there in May =D also credit to Carlisle fans, thought they were great, even i their team was gash

im out at the bloody theatre tonight but i expect a 3-0 win when i return. cant believe i only got 9/1 on it though!
-
For **** sake saints score a ****ing goal
-
evening lads, seems to be going ok tonight but we really need to win this. Swindon have got a lot of firsties out. Connolly may be the difference tonight
-
This happened to me too! i recorded it with sky plus and it cut out for the couple of mins showing our game and the norwich game. i was really p1ssed off but i thought it was only me! bloody sky

Great result today, Im really glad i came home for it. Fonte and Jaidi were absolutely immense, and Puncheon looks unplayable at times. However I gave MoM to Schniederlin, he was absolute quality today. Everything he did set us up for an attack, or diffused one of theirs. My Ratings FWIW Kelvin - 6. nothing to do Thomas - 7.5. looked calm and surprisingly assured at RB when he came on Jaidi - 9. won everything Fonte - 8. oozes class Harding -7. unsung hero this season Punch - 8. Too good for this league Hammond -7. We missed him when he was injured Morgan - 9. PL class today Lallana - 7. works so well with MS and Punch Lambert - 6.5. carp ref didnt let hm get into the game Barnard - 6.5. As above. Great defensive and midfield performance, Lambo and Barny were bullied off the ball but this gave Lallana and Punch the room to destroy Leeds. Bring on Swindon

That sir, is fair enough!

Yeah, NC already stated that "we're minted, flybe can **** off". im not sure if thats his exact words. I'd actually quite like to see us have a charity on the shirt ala barca and villa, maybe not next season with the anniversary, but something like naomi house or some other local charity would be a nice touch.

Hello to you too, welcome to the mad house! quick question, how come it took you 2 and a half years to make your first post!?
-
nope. 100% serious. I couldnt give a flying **** about what other fans think of us.
-
GS i specifically said "I wont be embarrassed celebrating our success after the time we've had". I assume this is tongue in cheek?! Luton started the season on -30 and were relegated from the football league pretty much before they started the season. We aren't even in a 'state' now
