What makes this more surreal is that 10years ago he became the world's most expensive player when moving to Real Betis for £21.5m After failing there and in other transfers he now ends up where he has to go to Vietnam to get a game. Surely, Surely he's good enough for Saints??

well he has good judgement then doesn't he. 5 goals in 32 premier league appearances for someone who's supposedly one of the world's best strikers and is worth supposedly £20m+ is extremely poor.

what about Yoann Folly, out of favour at Plymouth. I know he didn't set the world alight in his first spell here, but he was only 19 and playing in the premiership, now I think he would be quality.

He didn't go on strike whilst he was here and sunderland came in for him. He was reported as to failing to turn up for training one day (a reporter from the BBC was watching us train and noticed Kenwyne wasn't there and put 2 and 2 together and got 5) whilst Kenwyne was up in Sunderland undergoing a medical as a fee had already been agreed between the 2 clubs. I very much doubt there would have been a sell-on-clause as we got Stern John as part of the deal and Lowe wasn't in charge at the time. As many have alredy pointed out on this thread.

We all know nothing is going to happen today, it's 5.30 and everyone has gone home, yet another waste of time thread getting people's hopes up by people who claim to be "in the know" but clearly aren't. Agreed with the original post that we need a more aggrssive/defensive midfielder to play along side Gillett next season, and if they don't go up, I'd suggest Nadjim Abdou from Millwall. He was outstanding last night, won virtually every challenge he went in for, and he scored the winner, although obviously if they go up he won't drop divisions. Used to play for Plymouth last year if i'm not mistaken. And also from Millwall, Whitbread would be a decent signing, better than Lancashire at CB. For anyone who watched the game, he was the one who got KO in the second half and 5 mins later was back playing. Nails. Andy Robinson from Leeds would be good also
