Do you teach your pupils to avoid these shops?
-
FAO Thorpe-le-mong, the item I wanted was reduced by 25% in said shop, hence going in there. Are there any other shops that snooty people like you avoid?

In this 'walk on by' age, I thought it'd be nice to have a good deed of the day thread where you can share with your forum friends little stories of uplifting acts of unselfish generosity. I'll start the ball rolling. I was in town today purchasing a top of the range cordless telephone with additional handset, and as I was approaching the Argos store heard a distinctly foreign voice calling me "big issue please". Others had walked on by, but not me. I stopped and turned to the poor unfortunate creature and duely gave directions to the job centre.

You've gotta larf at Pompey. -
Judging by your posts I would say The Star would be too intellectual for you.

I had him round doing electrical work. I don't think he remembers though. Made him tea and provided complimentary digestives.

You'll need to hope there's space on the special bus.

Ah bless, the leftie scum have their own forum dedicated to the Mail (with a sub forum for the Express). They even have a 100+ page thread on Express headlines. http://www.mailwatch.co.uk/forum/index.php

I can picture you in one like this.

They are counting as we speak. I've just rang up and had a grumble about the lack of information and about them not posting out bus tickets - a police decision. The person I spoke to claimed they didn't know how many ballots had been received.
-
Just to give an update. The club have told me that not posting out tickets is a police decision. Does anyone know why PC burrows has insisted on this? I can think of no common sense reason for it.

The crusader logo. Image is everything.

Superb. This is music to my ears.

So long as there's enough left over for the ingredients for Heston's Tagliata with rocket and Parmesan salad eh... Working class people, without the budget for such an extravagant Islingtonesque lifestyle might not agree though.

I am a Daily Express reader and I am proud of my Newspaper especially the crusader logo. I think this newspaper says i'm patriotic, right wing, don't like benefits slobs, likely a UKIP supporter, and has made it in the game of life. I like to display my paper (with it's "migrants taking our jobs" headline) prominently when on public transport, particularly trains, as it discourages undesirable passengers from sitting in my vicinity and/or puts them off trying to strike a conversation. Equally it let's like minded people know here is a proud and loyal subject that takes no truck with the Liberal Elite.

And still the great unwashed complain.

No it's his own lunch box packed by himself. He'll get a sandwich out and lift the bread to reveal something really interesting like a slice of cheese and some pickle and act like it's a surprise even though he made them 4 hours earlier. Some days he'll even have a scotch egg and that is a real talking point!

To be fair aside from 1 or 2 d/cks the comments are a good read. because someone says something positive about the opposition ( Southampton ) you assume they support that team..yeah? The arrogance of some of our fans is astonishing. Southampton are not my team, but I wish we could play like them. Open your eyes, their young manager has put together a side that plays the game on the deck…no hoof stuff played in the sky, like our old fashioned Sam.. We should aspiring to match their level not dismissing them in fit of envy and arrogance

I work with a bloke (boring Denis) who lives on his own and as such makes his own pack up for lunch, yet when he sits with us he opens his lunch box and goes "oooooh" in surprise before revealing some delicacy that he didn't expect.

Has anyone ever met up with the 'singles' advertised on this site

There's no shortage of tits on this forum. -
Tell him no. All kids need is a bike. Anything else is just a nine day wonder.

I've not seen us win this season. I'm a right lucky omen.

I bet your twin (saintandy666) got double that.

People should only spend what they can afford. It's easy receiving things, but not so easy paying for them. That said some people are just c/nts who have no problem receiving things and then not paying for them. This is all hypothetical of course...
