The thing is how else do people protest against millitant islam without going on a NF or EDL demo? If a new group was formed to protest against millitant islam it'd be stigmatised as racist just the same. I'm not disputing that the NF was racist and it's core members Nazis, but the EDL are different - although they have attracted a few nazis i'd imagine. Anyway we've had this debate before and it'll only go around in circles so this is my last post on the thread.

The last time I looked Unite against Fascism were marching alongside people with banners displaying slogans such as "behead those who insult Islam" and "British soldiers burn in hell". Don't talk like a ****. It's a joke what the club are asking fans any distance from the ground to do. As is their feeble excuse about info getting lost in the post. What's wrong with sending a photocopy of your passport/driving licence? Even if the club stipulated it be sent recorded or special delivery it'd be better than forking out for diesel. Or they could simply ask that documentation is produced within a certain period or tickets are revoked.
