The fact remains that the Liebherrs are billionaires and as such a few million here and there is peanuts. If they don't spend relatively large amounts then i'd be disapointed.

including fraudulent use of a credit card and a debit card and possession of a forged Italian passport. Court documents and testimony show that the alleged shoplifter was not the unilingual Italian-speaker named Vincenzo Sestito he pretended to be. A fingerprint check after his arraignment revealed he was Nicola Cortese, a cousin and former business partner of an alleged Toronto Mafia boss. Mr. Cortese, who is considered by police to be a trusted soldier in the Calabrian mob, had vanished in 2008 as police in Ontario searched for him on drug, theft and fraud charges. http://www.nationalpost.com/news/Police+lose+track+alleged+soldier+until+Canadian+Tire+tussle/4298255/story.html

Small Independent Retailers Going To The Wall
dune replied to View From The Top's topic in The Lounge
I think there is a correlation between independent shops and affluence. To use independent shops you have to pay more and thus in grotty areas they will inevitably go out of business. Also in more rural area the big chains will attract less footfall so this puts them off opening branches aside from the main supermarkets which are everywhere. In response to angelmans query the towns i'm thinking of are Oakham and Uppingham which are in an area ranked 13th in a Halifax best quality of life report and is the only area out of the South of England to be ranked in the top 20. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Sky-News-Archive/Article/20080641288680 -
You've still got 1 more post to use before that.

Is it me or does it seem longer than 10 months since Markus's passing? At the time most of us were mourning out of respect, but inevitably thought then turned to where this left the club. Here we are 10 months later and the Liebherr family are still with us. IMO we now need to see some serious activity in the transfer market to send out a clear message that the Liebherr family are utterly comitted to fulfilling their fathers dreams.

Yet again the holier than thou are shown to be hypocrites. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?16876-Just-Back-From-The-Game-Thread.&p=458805#post458805 Do you use any other derogatory terms to describe the disabled?
-
They did. "some Labour MPs pulled faces and stretched their cheeks as he spoke, in an apparent attempt to mimic him" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1354147/Labour-MPs-mocked-disabled-Tory-Paul-Maynard-like-hyenas-going-kill.html Given that you feel so strongly does this mean you will not vote Labour again? Labour have quite a history of mocking the afflicted. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1325107/Harriet-Harman-brands-Treasury-chief-Danny-Alexander-ginger-rodent-extraordinary-outburst.html As a member of the TSW Liberal Elite do you consider gingerist comments to be just as unacceptable?
-
Do you draw the same conclusion regarding the Labour MP's he accused of mocking him?

When I was staying in los cristianos, tenerife you used to see loads of them coming down from the mountains. They were supposed to land on a football pitch. Was being taxi'd somewhere and saw some c/nt miss the landing spot and smash into a palm tree. Funny as f/ck.

It depends on the area you live in. Yes this is true for grotty towns such as Corby Northants, but in more affluent towns small retailers remain although they do now tend to be restricted to luxury items as oposed to essentials. -

We are not falling behind the USA. They are faltering just the same as we are. In fact their sovereign debt is very serious as Obama hasn't taken the steps our government have to deal with it.
-
Absolutely. I would like a referendum on leaving and just having a trading relationship.

I'm a member of UKIP because of my beliefs about the EU/the EURO, and what Nigel Farage has been saying for years is now coming to fruition. A one size fits all single currency could never work. The whole EU project is now under threat because in countries like germany the people are now questioning the merits of it because what their politicians have told them is turning out to be rubbish.
-
Not in our lifetimes we won't. British people do not consider themselves European in the sense that those on the continent do. A referendum would deliver a unanimous NO.

I've already explained it wasn't to do with his reported disability. I didn't even know he had a disability in the same way that the Labour MP's who he accused of mocking him didn't realise. Or are you suggesting that the Labour MP's in question did know about his disability and deliberately mocked it and lied about not knowing?
