Thanks. That is the last thing we need. I'm not at all interested in a debate on the sport. Ideally i'd love to see a fight at Ronda (not far from San Pedro de Alcantara where i'll be staying) which is the home of modern bullfighting and a fantastic historical arena. I'd imagine that there is far more to the festival than just the main event and this is really what i'd like to experience. Looking at dates I don't think it'll be possible at ronda so i'm now drawn to seville and staying over for a night.

These bulls have a far better and longer life prior to the festival than the beasts that they put in your big macs.

I'm the same - i'd like to make my own mind up on it after witnessing the whole festival and what it means to the people. I don't think it's right to be judgemental of other peoples cultures without experiencing them first hand.

Unless you're an independent that offers something different then you're going to struggle. Antiques shops, art gallerys, craft shops etc will eventually be all that's left.

There's no Rupert lowe or Mike Wilde any more. We have become almost a normal club. Hence there's not a lot to moan about anymore. Bring back Rupert and call me Mike and this place would be buzzing again.

It's not an economic thing. It's a "look me at i'm saving the planet and thus climbing the social ladder in Liberal Elite circles thing". In Tory circles we are content with a pair of ornamental bay tree's in terracotta pots outside the front door. In benefit slobs circles a st georges flag draped from a bedroom window does the job.

And the answer will be no. There are too many people without work who'll take your job if you don't like the terms. I don't see this situation changing for a long time, especially for the working classes. Labour allowed unprecendented numbers in from Eastern Europe who will not only work for the minimum wage, but will also take agency work. This means that the poorest working people have very little chance of seeing anything but a real terms drop in living standards.

I think everyone should take an interest in current affairs. Wthout that all that's left is x factor, big brother, and the soaps zzzzzzz.

TBH I could live without the crap on these sub forums, but the main saints page is important to me especially once the season starts. All the political stuff is just banter as far as i'm concerned.
