Putting acid in someones eyes is torture and i'm against that. I think we should bring back hanging for the worst crimes though. When carried out by an experienced hangman such as Albert Pierrepoint it's swift and clininical and causes no suffering.

No deal. If we'd have been in a position to say No Deal throughout the 90's we'd have been a top 6 club every season. For the first time since i've supported Saints it'd be nice to keep hold of our best players. Only by retaining players like Chamberlain will we be able to really push on as a club and since we now have loaded owners that want to make us sucessful it'd be completely crazy to sell unless he wants to go.

Steer well clear of yappy dogs.

By the very fact that little Englanders such as yourself are contributing to it. You mention that you know two "Tims" that are gay, so does this mean that when parents cal their children Timothy it makes them more likely to be gay? Your irrational logic and the fact you see no wrong in making your assertions clearly show that you have no isue with making fun of gay people. This hardly fits in with your holier than thou caring and compasionate Socialist facade.
-
Precisely. But clearly BTF is a homophobe and thinks this is fine.
-
It's homophobic because it's asking for "gay man names?". Would you think a thread entitled "black man names?" wasn't racist? You have shown yourself up to be a holier than thou Superior Socialist hypocrite.
-
It's interesting how the Superior Socialists and the Liberal Elite have commented on this homophobic thread. I bet they would have had a collective fit of the vapours if the question had been about blacks or asians.

I'd be gutted if we signed Michael Owen after the slagging off i've given him throughout his entire career. I simply can't stand the little git.

It's a big car heavy car with wide tyres. Light small cars with narrower tyres always driver better in the snow. I had the same problem.
-
If it's front wheel drive you should always have the best tyres on the front. Vice versa for rear wheel drive.
-
If he wants to go he'll go, but if we can retain him and we're serious about getting into the top flight and being a force there then we have to refuse any offer. Saints publicly turning down 15 mil would be a clear statement of intent.
-
I always put new tyres on the front and move the old fronts to the back. That's the way it's done. Better road grip when cornering.
-
I used to think the worshipping thing when Le Tissier took a corner was weird. Don't get me wrong he was a legend.

I'm currently using Bridgestone ER300's, but have only had them about a month so can't say if i'd use them again. If they don't impress i'll use Michelins next time.

I do think St Marys would also gain some character by having a new extension. At present it's just a subuteo stadium.

I would be shocked if it doesn't go smoothly.

Probably a flea bite you wimp.

On the day in question, March 12, 2003, Mr Huhne was still an MEP. He could have taken one of two flights from Strasbourg in France to Stansted airport in Essex. One landed at 9.58am and the other, which he is believed to have taken, at 10.23pm. It is not clear at what time his car was clocked exceeding a temporary 30mph limit on the M11. Crucially that evening, Miss Pryce – then chief economic adviser and director of general economics at the Department of Trade and Industry – was finishing a meal at the London School of Economics, where she had been speaking on a panel. This was confirmed yesterday by the LSE. A spokesman said: ‘Danny Quah, who is a professor of economics here, chaired the event and says he remembered that she was there. There was a dinner afterwards and Vicky Pryce is recorded as having attended. It was his ex wife that made the alegation. Not tittle tattle from the Tory press. The political commentator on Newsnight said things looked pretty grim for Huhne...

Nicola Cortese, Southampton's chairman, was recently approached by a representative for Berlusconi informing him of that gilded club's interest in taking him on. It is strongly possible that the contact was made on the recommendation of Giancarlo Giorgetti, an influential member of Berlusconi's Northern League party who just so happens to be a massive Saints fan. Just don't ask Digger why that is. But Cortese is understood to have declined the approach, favouring his current employment where he enjoys an adamantine relationship with the club's billionaire owner, Marcus Liebherr. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2010/jan/27/notts-county-hmrc-debt Thoughts?

Getting back on topic and ignoring the whingey posts from the defeated YES campaign, events regarding Huhnes future are looking grim. The media have revealed that his wife was in London at a meeting just before the time of the speeding incident and may have gone for a meal after and Huhne was in Strasbourg the day before. They report that many MEPs flew back into Stanstead on the evening of the offence which would mean that if Huhnes wife had an alibi someone else would have driven via the M11. Looking ahead if Essex police do investigate and it's found that his wife wasn't driving and Huhne was then Huhne will in all liklihood face a custodial sentence and that would lead to a by-election. If there was a by election then i'd expect a fairly low turnout (good for the Tories) and the Lib Dems have taken a hammering lately (good for the Tories). I predict we will soon see Eastleigh back as a Conservative seat and another yellow smudge will be wiped off the political map of the south with Winchester and Romsey already back how they should be.

The chunky legs suggest that the mystery fan was also a bit podgy.
