  1. Just been down and took a couple of snaps of cars parked on the bus stop. I just called in at the school to tell them what I was doing (told them I was gonna do it yesterday) just to make sure they knew. Can't stop. The main run commences now.
  2. Whilst private sector workers rolled their sleeves up and got on with it begrudgingly accepting the situation the country was in, we always knew the precious public sector workers considered themselves superior beings deserving of special treatment and that they'd kick off when they were asked to take their share of the pain. The government need to stick to their plan in the knowledge that those of us in the private sector don't want to pay higher taxes to subsidise the Socialist system of non jobs and waste in the public sector. The Tories need to stand firm and push ahead with the plan without deviation because that's what I believe most people in this country want to see happen.
  3. I notice Israel have launched some air strikes.
  4. Agreed. I should have used the term "Close".
  5. I'm going out with my camera today to take photographs of the atrocious school run parking up my cul-de-sac and in the surrounding area. Yesterday the mothers completely blocked my road off as I was inbetween trips to the tip with gardening rubbish and I was fuming. I went up to the school and complained and the poor head mistress agreed and has sent out countless letters requesting that they show some courtesy to residents and while I was chatting to her she pointed out that a 4x4 was as we spoke parked on the zig zags outside the school. To this end Operation School Run commences in a few hours time. The morning run isn't normally that bad, but the 1530 run is a nightmare. A few questions: 1. What is the legal distance you can park from a junction? There was a 4x4 (the standard school run car ) parked right on the corner of my road yesterday and I stopped and asked her if she'd passed her driving test because you're not allowed to park on a junction - reply "there was nowhere else to park". 2. What is the legal distance I can park from the kerb? The road is fairly narrow and you have to park right close to the kerb so cars can get by or on the Kerb for larger vehicles (i know this is strictly illegal but the council allow it where I live because there's no other solution). So far as I can assertain it's 50cm so i'm going out with a rule and will park 49cm from the kerb today so they can't get there 4x4's by for the duration of the school run.
  6. I can't believe he got let off with a caution. It's lucky he butted the kid and didn't rattle the fence instead or he could've been in big trouble.
  7. I've just swiched to Bridgestone ER300. I used to use Goodrichs but they wore down too quicly for my liking. Hopefully these Bridgestones are better.
  8. I can imagine Verbal in a mac with a box of pop corn strategically placed on his crutch in anticipation of BTF getting the munchies.
  9. Had some mad times on those. I once took far too many and I think I was close to dieing. Never took them again after that. On a more lighter note we did a ouija board once on acid and made contact with a murderer (possibly some funny c/nt was moving the ring). Also one of the old favourites was staring at a mirror and repeating "devil devil devil" and watching your face change.
  10. Are Plymuff a PLC?
  11. he sounds like a yank pr1ck to me but each to his own. And what's all this psychedelics ****? You're English so speak English.
  12. The 90's were a mad time. Just be careful with trips (they are strong and they do damage your brain so not to be done regularly), but if you're gonna do them make sure you're with people you like because the last thing you want is to be in the company of annoying people.
  13. The private sector have been hit really hard these past few years but we just got on with it, but now the precious public sector bods are being asked to take their share of the pain it's a different story.
  14. It's easy to be smug when your up against such a rubbish leader of the opposition.
  15. Count the lisps.
  16. Mods can we have a poll on this please.
  17. God help them with that perma tanned idiot.
  18. He does have a lisp and he comes accross as a nerd aswell. That is a big factor in why he's the most unpopular of the leaders.
  19. He's not very bright.
  20. On the contrary I support all measures to help working people which is why I hate Labour with a passion.
  21. I'm a right wing "i'm alright jack" Tory. Plymouth going pop helps Saints so i'd be delighted if they were sacrificed for the greater good of my club.
  22. The scum Labour Party went on a massive spending spree just before the election to deliberately f/ck the country up even more and make it more difficult for the Conservatives. How anyone can ever vote for them again is beyond me.
  23. Because you're in a public sector non job perhaps.
