  1. That is just typical of political correctness gone mad. It started out with marmalade jars and now we can't even honour war hero's. But the worst of it is that by and large it isn't minority communties that are the instigators of such lunacy, it's middle class left wing busy bodies.

  3. This afternoon i'm going to buy a PS3, but what is the best way of connecting it wirelessly to a BT homehub, i.e what else do I need to buy? I'm thinking a homeplug adapter, are these good? Plus of course i'll need a remote control.
  4. What makes it worse is that Wes claims to have been a fan when Matt Le Tissier was playing for us. I for one cannot believe that any Saints fan that experienced this era in our clubs history would snidely label him as "the lazy guernseyman". That's the sort of comment you'd expect from a Pompey fan.
  5. Precisely. These are points Trotsky made in his definition of fascism. Marxists are well known for their well oiled propaganda machine and by labelling those opposed to Communism as Fascists with obsessions with an international plot it enables the Marxists to call Conservatives Fascists and thus undermine Western Christian Democracy.
  6. Clearly that definition is taken from the Marxist definition. The Marxist definition seeks to undermine Western Christian right wing Conservatism. By calling Conservatives Fascists the Marxists are able to link 1930's/40's Germany with the politics of the West. It's a classic example how the Marxists seek to spread their ideologies and it was very sucessful particularly in Africa where Colonialism was replaced with Communist dictatorships.
  7. Here is one definition of fascism: Fascism is a system in which the government leaves nominal ownership of the means of production in the hands of private individuals but exercises control by means of regulatory legislation and reaps most of the profit by means of heavy taxation. In effect, fascism is simply a more subtle form of government ownership than is socialism. I'm certainly not a fascist if this is the correct definition.
  8. Grow up.
  9. Define what fascism is. The term is banded around a lot, but nobody really knows what it is. Most scholars agree that a "fascist regime" is foremost an authoritarian form of government, although not all authoritarian regimes are fascist.
  10. Not to mention... I have a wide range of interests including Chess, Writing poetry and short stories. I enjoy listening to a wide range of music and watching athletics Here is a classic example of where it would have been better to lie. If you have a crap social life just make up a really good one.
  11. TBF my grammar and spelling is really crap so i'm a fine one to talk. That said i've found loads more mistakes. Reading your bullet points you sometimes use a capital letter on the second word and other times you don't. Also you put a full stop after one bullet point, but not on any of the others.
  12. Don't ruin another thread Deppo.
  13. I got this far... You didn't get the job.
  14. I agree. Smirking Saint needs to move to centre ground with me.
  15. Now might be a good time to refresh peoples memories of this rant from Cortese. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2051138,00.html Oh and Wes move on, you've shown yourself up enough for one day.
  16. So now it's up to Nicola to deny that he's blocked the players and manager from attending or explain why he's done it. Agreed?
  17. I'm big enough to do it, but I won't because I think he is slimy. I'll support cortese on some things, but i'll judge each situation as I see it and on this issue i'm not impressed.

  19. You decided to slag off our greatest ever player who is not only a legend but who showed unbelieveable loyalty to us. If you have enjoyed him as much as the next fan why did you slag off how he played?
  20. Were it not for "the lazy Guernseyman" as you so scumbagly put it we'd have been down and struggling many years before.
  21. He didn't have a lot of choice. The Sun was the cat and Nicola was the mouse.
  22. If you look back at our Empire it's been riddled with episodes of ethnic cleansing. Even after the full extent of the the NAZI genocide came to light we had concentration camps in Kenya. Nobody knows whether the world would have been a better place or not had we sided with Germany, but what can be said is that world since then would have been very different. I will not say the world would have been worse for sure (like you and others who are adamant that you know best) because when you're dealing with such a complex hypotheical scenario you cannot be sure. Let us not forget that because Germany lost the war commusim spread and eastern europe spent years under it and millions were murdered... I found this post on another forum, and whilst I don't necessarily agree with it, it illustrates how very different things could have been - for better or worse. Well, maybe if we'd sided with Germany, I doubt the government would've allowed Hitler to undertake the holocaust and maybe he would've agreed to our idea to move the Jews etc to the colonies in Africa. We wouldn't have been burdened by the cost of the war as much, Hitler would've rampaged through Europe, probably with us helping, except I think we'd have probably twisted Hitler's arm to be a bit more...well...sane We'd probably have gotten France and the Benelux countries, Hitler would've gotten the Alsace-Lorraine from France and all of Eastern Europe. Japan probably wouldn't have bombed Pearl Harbour as the US wouldn't have helped us with supplies. The atomic bomb wouldn't therefore be dropped on Hiroshima, instead, probably Germany and Japan would've waged war on Russia and won by dropping an atomic bomb on Stalingrad or something. Therefore, you have a Europe dominated by a Fascist dictatorship as opposed to a Communist dictatorship for the next fifty years. Then in China you get the Civil War, but the Axis support the conservative Kuomintang, so China becomes fascist too. Japan has also gotten Korea and parts of the former French Indochina, but the British maintain its technically part of their empire, leading to the division of Vietnam. In the after-war years, the Americans join the British in fighting the Japanese in Vietnam. The British win and Japan gets annoyed and starts bombing Hong Kong, this upsets China due to the battle so near to their mainland, and China invades Japanese Korea, leading to a Korean War. The result is the division of Korea into North Korea and South Korea, the north becomes highly fascist under China whilst the South becomes Japanese affiliated. With the world now between three superpowers; the British Empire, the German Empire and the Republic of China, plus the smaller big powers, the United States and Japan. In 1968, the Beatles release Back in the GUNS (German Union of Nazi States). Meanwhile, stirrings of a revolt begin in Europe, the Italians overthrow Mussolini finally in 1970 at the age of 86, whilst the increasingly ill and crippled Hitler had been a recluse for the last fifteen years, with rumours circling he had died. His Berlin had also only been partly finished much to his disappointment when marches occurred at the Brandenburg Gate against Nazism. In 1972, the government revealed Hitler had died, leading to the overthrowing of the Nazis in West Germany spurred by the much freer British way of life in France, with half the Nazis captured by liberation forces, whilst the remainder fled to Moscow to re-base their government. The British Empire absorbs West Germany causing a Cold War, the US naturally sides with the British Empire, whilst the Japanese side with the German Empire. The Germans become increasingly secretive and insane in a desperate attempt to keep in control. However, rebellion begins in Czechoslovakia and spreads across the Balkans, they all soon cede from the GUNS. In 1983, the GUNS breaks up and the division of Europe ends, numerous new states appear such as Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Prussia, Russia, Greece and Belarus. Notably, Germany no-longer exists, separated into West Germany, now officially a member of British Union of Commonwealths (the empire has ceased to exist) and Prussia, made up of East Germany, and Poland. Italy becomes a member of the BUC. Today, the world is made up of the superpowers; the United Commonwealths of Britain (Great Britain, Ireland, West Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy), the United States of America, the Federal Republic of Prussia (East Germany, Poland, parts of Estonia, etc), the Japanese Empire (Japan and South Korea) and Russia. The world's pains in the neck are the fascist North Korea and Persia, the world's emerging economies are India and the Republic of China. The UCB is currently at war in the Middle East along with the US. None of the above is serious mind, all complete made up fiction, but I always was a storyteller.
  23. Cortese is on very dodgy ground if he thinks it's acceptable to take a Wes Tender stance with Matt. There are lot of fans that won't like it and who will quite rightly side with Matt.
