Most Italian teams have money problems so my guess is not the fee - it's how much upfront Saints are paying. Not very good to start negotiate when your speaking partner knows you're broke...

Must ask - if Saints and the player have agreed terms - then the Italian club must have given him permission to talk with Saints right? In that case the deal must be well on its way ?
