  1. Who is sayng we shouldn't give hm a chance? If he plays, of course I'd get behind him, but I find it hard not to beleve there isn't better out there.
  2. Ok, thanks for that
  3. Not quite true, seems to have a good half a season last year at Parma, got a few goals towards their 6th place finish.
  4. Why would we magine that? Is this lad 19?
  5. Just beat me to it ha! Don't think he's been called up since then.
  6. I take it none of us can remember his 5 minute cameo appearance against England in the international friendly back in August 2012?
  7. So your opinion on signing Messi or one of Hartlepool's reserves would be exactly the same until you see them playing for us?
  8. Or try and form an informed opinion on what he will add to our squad and whether he is a good signing or not?
  9. Is a winger/attacking mdfielder? As apart from last season, he hardly ever seems to score.
  10. His reputation is obviously not great, but if I read my google searches correctly didn't he have a decent contrbution for 6th place finishing Parma last season? But surely we've got to be able to do better than this.
  11. As I say, Commercially it's not great, there is obvious room for improvement there. Last summer's pre-season games weren't commercially exciting, so 'm not sure why you've picked out this year's for being so disappointing for you. Exactly. I'd expect to see us do the States or Canada next year.
  12. Commercially they're not great, but apart from that I don't really see the problem. How much is commercially on offer for a club our size I'm not sure, would somewhere like New Zealand or Eastern Europe have been any good?
  13. Wouldn't have been today, as we played Brighton on Thursday night.
  14. Agreed, I can't get excited about Hernandez, there must be better options out there for the sort of money that is getting mentioned.
  15. Forster's distribution isn't much better. Forster dos have age going in his favour, how much longer would Borc go on for? It is the hardest postion n a modern day football squad to recruit for, back-up keeper.
  16. Still in the middle of nowhere, tough to get to and from, the two side stands are excellent, but the ends look absolutely tinpot. Improvmenet on the Withdean I guess.
  17. Regardless, he's gong to be behind Davis, JWP, Cork and Schneiderlin, unless we have someone leaving or an established player dropping well down the list.
  18. As a minor aside, how poor was the home attendance? Rubbish. Sent from my RM-875_eu_euro1_217 using Tapatalk
  19. Still can't work out how Taider would fit into our squad. Looks a handy player though.
  20. I couldn't give a f**k about being 'bitter', but it's an utterly s***te song, so really shouldn't sing it.
  21. Yep, thought we were pretty good again, controlled and dominated the game, gave the opposition very little, similar to Bournemouth and Swindon games. Thought we could have created a but more for Pelle though.
  22. I'm not bothered about how much money we spend on him. Bertrand is alright and should do a decent job for us. Don't like the fact he'll be sitting out of two of our games this season. As I've said before, I'm happy to look at the whole picture come the end of August and judge our business fully then.
  23. That's my point, you wouldn't. And I didn't mention "every position", your post doesn't really make sense.
  24. Yes, that's what's happened, we've filled a hole with an alright player, had just been hoping we'd be doing a bit more than a quick, temporary fix.
