I don't think he will start most weeks for Arsenal or would have for us if Clyne remained fit.
-
Right, but I'm not talking about those at the front of the queue that got there an hour before kick off or what happened 40 years ago, so I'm not sure what your point is.
-
Yep, somewhere along the line the club hadn't any contingency plan in place for such a big walk up, didn't seem particularly well managed.
-
Looked still to be a huge queue at kick off, assume some must have just given up and headed home? I can't believe so many left it late though.
-
I agree with that, if you piece together all the media bits you can get an impression of how key he is behind the scenes, comes across as a top bloke.
-
What is the protest actually asking for?
-
Schneiderlin won't play, no chance, even if he's got his head together. I think it'll be the same side that started yesterday's game, Boruc retaining the keeper spot for now. Only things I would possibly question is Ramirez for Isgrove and Taider for Ward-Prowse, but think will opt for the hard work/chasing down effort of Isgrove and Ward Prowse for this one.

For how much longer are we going to hang on the whim of Hernandez? Got to reach the point soon where we pull in our '2nd choice'.
-
You can post plenty on this message without paying £5.

I'd agree with that, three weak links, otherwise I thought we were good, the better team, do like the Clyne/Tadic link up. Worried about the amount of decent service supply Pelle is going to get, or if he is quite sharp enough.
-
Do you know him or are you speculating?
-
The term "Argie" isn't racist, get off your moral high horse and stop trying to lecture people.
-
Did Koeman state that, or is that just the journalist's interpretation?
-
Are you really impressed? I don't think anyone has suggested they are the "easiest thing in the world", so I'm not sure what relevance that has. We're going into the Liverpool game with an under-prepared/resourced team, it's as simple as that (and I've happily given the board plenty of leeway and still will).
-
I'm sure you know what I mean. Very difficult to get the 2nd choice keeper pick right and keep a settled squad, but with the right quality as back-up, I hope we've done that here.
-
Nce idea, but I can't see Forster being happy sat on the bench for most of the season.
-
Have been poorly managd in term of getting them through the door in time though.
-
Boruc is still a good keeper, but how much longer has he got at the top, week n, week out? He could go one of two ways - enjoy the challenge and becoming a senior pro in the background here, or get in a bit of a strop and try and work a move, not sure how long left he's got as first choice at a decent level club earning the kind of money he'll be on with us. I wonder what Kelvin Davis will do as well?
-
Yeah, excellent that, I reckon there'll be a fair walk up crowd, good attendance that, got the return from the right prices.

José Fonte signs new three-year deal with Saints
Sour Mash replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Playing devil's advocate here, could it be we were waiting to see whch other Centre Backs we could recruit? Or Fonte assessing which deals were coming in for him from elsewhere? Very good news regardless, good captain material in my view. -
Can easily refer to people from Portsmouth on that basis!

Reading through that whole thread on Forster, Celtic fans seem very, very positive about his quality as a keeper, good to read.
