Schneiderlin does need to sort himself out, he'll look back on his career in years to come and realise that having worked that hard to get picked for France he could have thrown it all away quite easily all due to his own attitude.
-
The management clearly do want him, otherwise he'd be allowed to go. We'll have a first team squad of circa 20 players this season, we can only start 11 each week.
-
I preferred the old Glasgow.
-
That does sound quite bad. Can't even get a beer easily in Qatar.
-
He is wanted at Saints. As is Maya Yoshida for example, doesn't mean they can be guaranteed first team starts every week.
-
Exactly. Brouc was signed for us in the middle of Sept of season 12/13, while he was doing nothing much at all (wasn't even experiencing the horrific ordeal of being a 2nd choice keeper somewhere), wasn't fully match fit and was given the chance to come on board. He can't throw his toy's out of the pram just because the current manager prefers another player.
-
Footballers can be treated horrifically? Can you give us a few examples?
-
They have thought through the PR, that's the whole point. It is just PR, what did you think it was?
-
So Arsenal went for Walcott instead of Dyer because he could run faster for longer pretty much?
-
But we didn't sign him until the September if I remember rightly?
-
Yep, medium/long term it makes sense. Which would be fair enough.
-
Boruc has been a bit injury prone over his time with us, especially by goalkeeper standards. Why was he available as a free agent when he signed for us?
-
Hamas have killed plenty of Israeli civilians over the years though?
-
Exactly that. I feel a bit for Boruc, but no-one is stopping him from sticking around and being competitive and professional. I'm not sure how many Prem clubs or decent level European sides would be prepared to give him a good contract and make him their first choice.
-
Got a feeling he might do, we've just paid £10m, that is a lot to shell out for a keeper. Thought he came across well.
-
Yep, that is poor from the BBC, doesn't suggest they're biased towards one side as an organisation as a whole. Plenty of coverage of the suffering of Palestinians.
-
No you didn't cover Fulham. Spurs didn't come close to selling out. Chelsea took ages to sell out.
-
Why is it fragile? It's exactly what they've done. Plenty of sympathetic coverage of the Palestinian side I've seen on the BBC, on the whole I can't see them as strongly biased I'm afraid.
-
And in answer to your question, yes he is
-
Yoshida is good enough as back-up for me.
-
No, I'm pretty sure West Ham went on general sale the last two years. SPurs last season didn't even come close to selling out. Chelsea the last two seasons has also gone on general sale. And Fulham last season.
-
Is the BBC really biased? In what way? I'll stick up a defence for Israel’s actions. It's simply a zero tolerance approach to the threat of terrorism to their people and their nation which is surrounded by hostile and aggressive neighbours.
-
I'm pretty sure it went to General Sale last season and maybe even the season before that. We get a big allocation there.
-
Not a bad song, but it's too that same bloody tune and as Lallana won't be involved on Sunday doesn't really make sense to use it.
-
Why do you refer to them as "Spuds"?
