This situation further highlights, along with the Boruc/Forster debate, how difficult it is for a club our size to build a squad with genuine quality and ability in depth. Good players are much more likely to be happy to sign up to the bench of Man U than ours or more importantly would rather have a starting role at somewhere like Palace than be on our bench.
