I'd still like us to try and source bargains from further afield, but the position the club has found themselves in this summer, it is understandable they want to get as much certainty and as little a gamble as possible on their key signings.

It's a good question. Pelle looks like he could do with good runners off and around him. Could Long take on Isgrove's role? Track back enough? I'm not sure.

I don't think any of these songs will take off, so you can rest easy. But Lallana and Lovren will get massive stick when they take the field against us and quite rightly so.
